The multi-talented Keith Antone is a writer, actor, musician, comedian and producer. A proud Afro-Latino, he was born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Florida. His mother, Ana Naar, born in Colon, Panama raised Keith in a bilingual middle-class home with his four younger siblings. His father passed away when he was 20 years old.
Keith graduated from New York City's American Musical and Dramatic Academy in 2007 with a focus in musical theatre. He spent 10 years in New York City theatre scene. As an actor a few of his regional credits include Passing Strange, Hair, The Color Purple and Choirboy. He also toured nationally as a part of Nickelodeon's Storytime Live.
In 2015, Antone moved to Los Angeles to expand his pursuits in film, television and stand-up. Not long after his transition to Los Angeles, he was able to land co-starring roles on CBS's Training Day and Criminal Minds and a national commercial for Apple. He also tried his hand at producing as the executive producer of the short film and photo series, They Come They Go. Wanting more, Keith tried his hand at writing and was able to find success being staffed as a writer on season two of Netflix's critically acclaimed, Gentefied. Writing both in Spanish and English, his time with the show afforded him the opportunity to shed light on his experience as Afro-Latino in America. He also auditioned and landed a co-starring role as the hilarious yet inappropriate nurse, Ephraim on episode 204, Send Me a Sign. His most proud moment was writing and singing to La Mas Bonita featured on episode 205, Yessica's Day Off. He submitted a demo of himself singing the song to the show runners who quickly insisted it be on one of his episodes. Las Mas Bonita is available on all streaming platforms.
In January 2022 Antone signed on to be a story editor on Amazon's The Summer I Turned Pretty, by bestselling author Jenny Han. Season one is set to premiere in the summer of 2022. Keith continues to do stand-up and is developing a comedy-drama series of his own, based on his life growing up Afro-Latino in Florida.
