Star's Co-Star roles include The Blacklist (NBC) and Mr. Robot (USA Network). She was born in North Carolina, but was raised in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Her father is African-American and her mother is Thai. English is her first language, Spanish is her second. Star started modeling around the age of seven, and she got her first-degree black belt in Taekwondo around the age of 13. Star graduated from Parkview Arts/Science Magnet High School, majoring in Drama while also studying Television Production at Metropolitan Career-Tech. During this time, she played sports, recorded music, and took courses with Barbizon Modeling and Acting. Years later, Star graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor's in Mass Communications emphasizing in Media Production, and a Bachelor's in Spanish. During her undergrad studies, Star danced with the UALR Floor Rockers. She also began uploading random videos on YouTube, and then years later she began uploading skits. Additionally, any fashion show or production she could be a part of, she would be. After graduating from college, Star moved to Dallas, Texas, continued to model, and began dancing with the salsa team Mambo Dallas. After a year in Dallas, she moved to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Star did a couple of photo shoots while in the Dominican Republic, volunteered as a backstage assistant for Dominicana Moda and Bridal Week, and she continued to dance salsa, practicing with local teams such as Fusion Latina and On2 Dance Studio. Two and a half years later, Star moved to New York, completed her MBA, walked runway shows for emerging designers, did photo shoots, and won the Plitzs January Emerging Model of the Year Competition in 2016.
