- Ryan firmly established her as a rarity in the world of euro disco. She performed in different cities including Las Vegas and Paris. She was called «The Queen of Euro disco».
- Patty started her music career back in 1980. At that time she preferred Rock-n-Roll.
- For her songs from the 2000s, she is also a composer.
- Ryan had her start in music business with the rockabilly formation Susi & die Rockets, which also participated in the ZDF-Hitparade in 1981 with the song Dieses Haus ist kein Bahnhof (German version of Sweet Lolita from the British rockabilly band Matchbox).
- In 1986 Ryan changed her mind about her music style, when she signed to Diter Bolen's music label.
- Patty stopped after a while touring around the world, performing only at European countries. She explained, that it was a result of her manager's aerophobia.
- Her style is similar to that of bands like Modern Talking, London Boys, and Bad Boys Blue. Some of the songs from her debut album resemble Modern Talking songs considerably, You're My Love, You're My Life (You're My Heart, You're My Soul), I'm Feeling So Blue (There's Too Much Blue In Missing You), and the song Chinese Eyes even is based around melodies from "You're My Heart, You're My Soul".

- Patty Ryan was a German singer best known for her Eurodisco song "You're My Love, You're My Life" from 1986.
- Patty Ryan's more recent releases include the 2005 CD single "I Gave You All My Love," the 2006 compilation "All the Best" (Otre-Media), and her German hits "Ohne Zweifel" (2004) and "Lass mir doch mal meinen Spass" (2005).

- Modern Talking not only made impact on Ryan's artistic path, but on her popularity. Their schedule was so hot, that they refused offer to perform in Japan. Nevertheless, the Japanese parties asked for somebody who could play euro disco. Patty Ryan was selected. She went to Japan, and it was a great success.
