It has been six months since Riverdale ended. The CW supernatural teenage show had quite a long run of seven seasons. From romance to murder mystery to horror elements, the series had everything. Based on Archie Comics, the show stars Lili Reinhart, Cole Sprouse, Camila Mendes, Kj Apa, Madelaine Petsch, Vanessa Morgan, Casey Cott and others.
Riverdale’s storyline always perplexed the audience. Sometimes, it made sense, and most of the time, none of it made sense. However, the show gave us unique talents and solid friendships. Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes and Madelaine Petsch are one such trio who became good friends on the sets. The ladies often shared beautiful pictures and cool TikTok videos.
So, has anything changed ever since the show ended? Did their friendship change, and is the cast still connected via group chat? Camila has answered these burning questions.

Note: This story contains spoilers from the “Riverdale” series finale.
After seven seasons of chaotic storytelling, time travel and musical episodes, the CW bid farewell to “Riverdale” with a touching and somber finale Wednesday night. Appropriately titled “Chapter One Hundred Thirty-Seven: Goodbye, Riverdale,” the installment featured a return to the present day before one last trip down a grief-stricken memory lane.
Before we get into the finale, the penultimate episode established that Angel Tabitha (Erinn Westbrook) announced she’d blended the multiverse into the 1950s timeline and restored the good memories of the Riverdale teens’ present day lives, leaving them in the 1950s to help change the world for the better. Jughead (Cole Sprouse) and Betty (Lili Reinhart) chose to keep both the good and the bad memories in secret.

This article contains spoilers for the Riverdale series finale.
Riverdale season 7 gave our characters a fresh slate in the 1950’s, embracing their “classic Archie Comics counterparts.” However, in the penultimate episode, they all finally got their good memories back from Angel Tabitha (Erinn Westbrook) with only Jughead (Cole Sprouse) and Betty (Lili Reinhart) choosing to remember both the good and bad.
With all of the absurd storylines that have taken place throughout the seasons, including time travel, it makes sense to say goodbye to Riverdale as the town that was once lost in time with one last epic journey. Whether you’re satisfied with where your favorite characters end up, one thing is for sure, you’re going to need tissues. Here’s what really went down in the show’s finale.

It’s time to say goodbye to Riverdale, which ends its impressive seven-season run, aptly, with a series finale entitled “Goodbye, Riverdale.” Impressive because, well, the adaptation of the Archie Comics crew was a weird kid from the get-go: A mix of Twin Peaks, snark, ’50s-style gangs and teen-sex soap with a side of musical elements and a young cast of relative unknowns. Mostly CW fare, for sure, but strange enough to run the risk of being lost in the mix. However, thanks to the instant youthful alchemy of Kj Apa, Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Madelaine Petsch, Vanessa Morgan, and Casey Cott, as well as the equally root-worthy adults played by Molly Ringwald, Mädchen Amick, the late Luke Perry, Skeet Ulrich, and Mark Consuelos, the show exploded and became a whole thing. It also helped that the project was cared for big time not just by series creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa,...

In a new interview, the Jughead depicter on the hit CW series talked about how fans were so “invested” in the show to the point he received death threats following the split, reports aceshowbiz.com.
“I get a lot of stuff sent to my house or my loved ones’ houses. Death threats, really nasty, honestly criminal stuff,” Cole told Vulture.
“And I do think it’s because at least four of us at this table have dated our co-workers,” he added, referring to co-stars Camila Mendes and Charles Melton who dated each other for a year.
He continued, “Is that just a consequence of an incredible love? Or is that what fanaticism looks like? Perhaps because those lines were blurred to our audience, it’s hard...

The "Riverdale" cast have seen the jokes, but they're not laughing. In an Aug. 15 interview with Vulture, the cast spoke about the rampant meme-ification of "Riverdale," and why the internet just can't seem to take the show seriously. "I think it's important to acknowledge that our show is made fun of a lot," Lili Reinhart said, referencing the clips she said are often "taken out of context" on social media at the actors' expense. "It's really not been easy to feel that you're the butt of a joke."
The general discourse seems to focus on the show's melodramatic script (who could forget the "epic highs and lows of high school football"?) as well as the plot, which strays further from reality with each season. Reinhart, however, made it clear that's all intentional. "When the absurdity of our show became a talking point, it was difficult," Reinhart said. "It is, 'What the f*ck?...

The cast recently chatted up a storm with Vulture, where they divulged their thoughts about the progression of the series’ arguably ridiculous storylines.
Lili Reinhart, who plays Betty Cooper on the CW series, opened the conversation by admitting “our show is made fun of a lot,” acknowledging the boatload of “Riverdale Cringe” compilations available on TikTok and YouTube.

Riverdale's final season has pushed its characters from their adult states back to a teenage facsimile -- only this time, they're stuck in the 1950s.
For some, the '50s were the reset they'd been hoping to see from Riverdale, which can offer fresh, campy storytelling. For others, Riverdale's foray into the '50s has fallen hopelessly flat.
Riverdale Season 5 starts with a seven-year time jump that aged all the characters from high school seniors to aimless twenty-somethings. Divulging in more mature plots and relationships that the high school years hadn't seen before, the time jump allowed the characters to continue to grow.
Riverdale Season 6 moved into the supernatural, with the season culminating in Riverdale Season 6 Episode 22, "Chapter One Hundred and Seventeen: The Night Of The Comet," wherein the residents of Riverdale were faced with a new kind of peril as a comet hurdled towards them, threatening to wipe them...

Make room for Daddy, Riverdale! Even though his villainous-but-so-hot Hiram Lodge was offed in Season 6, original series cast member Mark Consuelos is swaggering back into the town with pep, thanks to this final season’s alternate timeline-jump back to 1955. In this current universe, not only is Hiram alive but he’s also the reigning star — along with wifey Hermione — of “America’s #1-rated television program, Oh Mija,” as nepo-baby Ronnie (Camila Mendes) revealed in the season opener. And in the June 28 episode, he’s bringing that square jaw and glorious head of slicked-back hair from Hollywood to the halls of Riverdale high. In TV Insider’s exclusive clip from the hour (directed by fellow Riverdale parent Mädchen Amick), “Chapter One Hundred and Thirty: The Crucible,” Veronica proudly introduces her famous dad to the gang, who have varying reactions to being in the presence of TV royalty. Archie (Kj Apa) goes for earnest admiration,...

The clock continues to count down on Riverdale as the seventh and final season serves up the fourth of its 11 episodes. In tonight’s outing, the overheated teens of the town with pep are once again causing a ruckus: Betty (Lili Reinhart) puts Kevin (Casey Cott) on warning for refusing her randy advances, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) gets into a pickle only Veronica (Camila Mendes) can get him out of, and Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) decides to pull a fast one on her family with some help from Archie (Kj Apa). Watch an exclusive sneak peek of that last one above. We’d say it’s all innocent fun, but you know these kids. They are not squeaky clean, never have been. Which is probably why we have spent the past seven seasons with them. Regardless of the era they are inhabiting, Archie and the gang know how to put the bad behavior in a good time.

[Warning: The below contains spoilers for Season 7 Episode 1 of Riverdale, “Chapter One Hundred Eighteen: Don’t Worry Darling.”] Happy days are here again. Or more like Happy Days. On jingle-jangle, that is. Because Riverdale returned tonight for its seventh and final season doing the time warp back to the ’50s. Thanks to the Bailey’s Comet catastrophe that was seemingly thwarted at the end of the supernatural-infused Season 6, our gang was transported to the era of James Dean’s death, Emmett Till’s trial, and hot-rodding teens, with only Jughead (Cole Sprouse) clued-in to the mix-up. The rest were busy being typical teens (again), with the head-turning arrival of transfer student and Hollywood kid Veronica (Camila Mendes), the growing civil-rights movement, and the storybook romance of high-school sweethearts Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) and … future gay icon Kevin Keller (Casey Cott)? Yeah, things are a little different this season. One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is that Betty remains...

The final season of live-action "Archie" comics TV series "Riverdale", begins March 29, 2023 on The CW:
"...picking up where last season ended, 'Jughead Jones' (Cole Sprouse) finds himself trapped in the 1950's. He has no idea how he got there, nor how to get back to the present.
"His friends are no help, as they are living seemingly authentic lives, similar to their classic 'Archie Comics' counterparts, unaware that they've ever been anywhere but the 1950's.
"'Archie Andrews' (Kj Apa) is the classic all-American teen, coming of age, getting into trouble, and learning life-lessons. 'Betty Cooper' (Lili Reinhart) is the girl next door, starting to question everything about her perfect life - including her controlling mother 'Alice' (Madchen Amick), 'Veronica Lodge' (Camila Mendes) is a Hollywood starlet who moved to 'Riverdale' under mysterious circumstances.
"'Cheryl Blossom' (Madelaine Petsch) is the 'Queen Bee' with a withering wit and a secret longing.

“Riverdale” is taking a time warp back to 1955 to kick off its final season.
The CW’s outgoing drama dropped the official trailer for season 7 on Thursday, setting up the shenanigans that Archie (Kj Apa) and the crew will endure as they try to piece together what happened following last season’s finale. After facing off against Percival and narrowly missing a deadly comet, the gang was transported back to the ’50s, where they found themselves reliving high school… again.

Unfortunately for the crew, only Jughead (Cole Sprouse) is aware of all that transpired prior to their new 1955 reality.
As the two-minute trailer reveals, Jughead has the tall task of trying to convince his pals — who find themselves living very unexpected lives and paired up in the most shocking relationships — why they don’t actually belong in the ’50s.

The end is approaching for Riverdale.
The seventh and final season premieres Wednesday, March 29, on The CW, and if the first trailer is any indication, the trippy storytelling that made the first few seasons a success is making a comeback.
When Riverdale Season 6 concluded in 2022, the gang was transported back to the 1950s, which looks to be the setting for the final chapter.
In true Riverdale fashion, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) appears to be the only person who knows what's happening in this new timeline.
"We were all sent back in time," Jughead tells his friends.
"We need to get back."
However, his friends are far too interested in spending their time at school than unraveling the mysteries surrounding their lives.
"Jughead, we're juniors in high school. Life's good," Archie (Kj Apa) says.
"Why would we want to go back? ... We are not from the future!"

Veteran Warner Bros. Television casting executive Findley Davidson has departed the studio after 15 years, most recently as head of New York casting. She has launched her own, New York-based independent casting office, Findley Davidson Casting, which will offer casting services for film, television, and theatre.
Davidson, who joined Wbtv in 2008, was made VP and head of the studio’s New York casting office in 2019, following the retirement of VP Meg Simon after a 40-year career. I hear Wbtv will maintain some casting presence in New York though it is not expected to be at the level of the past. The studio’s parent Warner Bros. Discovery has been in a cost-cutting mode post-merger, and casting is one of the areas where the company has scaled back, including the elimination of the HBO Max casting department in favor of adopting HBO’s model that involves using casting directors on individual shows.
