Janice Lok Kwan Woo moved to the US from Hong Kong in 2012 to pursue a career in film. She graduated from the New York Film Academy with her Bachelor's Degree in Producing. Although she went to school for Producing, Janice has found a love for Writing and Directing along the way. Janice is a woman with a boundless imagination, and a never-ending supply of curiosity.
She has a particular love of films with women's POV and is excited about collaborating with like-minded individuals on genre films in all over the world.
She has produced and directed four feature film "Angels Never Cry" that shot in Iceland in 2018 (available on Amazon Prime), feature film "White Room" (available on Amazon Prime) that shot in San Diego in 2018, feature documentary film "MANipulation" that shot in Los Angeles in 2018, and "The Darker The Lake" that shot in Austria in 2019. She is currently in pre-production of a sci-fi TV series that will be shot in Thailand and Macao in 2021.
She is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
