David Adams was born on 16 November 1928 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He was an actor, known for Folio (1955), Festival (1960) and Scope (1949). He died on 24 October 2007 in Stony Plain, Alberta, Canada.
He was awarded the OC (Officer of the Order of Canada) on May 13, 2004 and invested on September 2, 2005. He was an enormous influence on Canadian dance. He was a founding member of the National Ballet of Canada. He was a principal dancer, choreographer and ballet master, former technical director, ballet master, teacher and choreographer of the Edmonton Festival Ballet and Grant MacEwan College.
