Verity East is an Australian born actress now residing between London and Melbourne. She graduated from the top acting schools in Australia, the VCA and 16th Street Acting Studio. Shortly after she was invited to study at the Terry Schreiber Studio in New York where she performed as 'Claire' in the play "Proof" by David Auburn. Verity returned to Australia and landed a part in the hit TV series, 'Underbelly Squizzy,' as Mrs Diana Oswald.
In an upcoming Australian comedy TV series, called 'Addicted,' Verity takes the lead as a sassy, sexy brassy bombshell, who just can't get it right!
Verity's most challenging and rewarding role to date, is the 2019 feature film 'FAIRYTALE' where Verity takes the lead in an intense, and raw drama facing explicit issues of sexual assault. This film was unscripted and totally improvised on set, shot in eight days in chronological order in New York. Verity received the Best Actress Award for FAIRYTALE from the Beverly Hills Film Festival.
