Lucrecia Sarita Russo

A third-generation performer, Lucrecia Sarita Russo was born in New Orleans and raised on the road as she comes from a show business family.
Her grandmother, Alice Bethancourt, was a trapeze artist with the "Ringling Brothers Circus. Father, Russ (Russo) Lewis, a ventriloquist and comedian playing the main rooms in Vegas, appearing on national television, plus he also had a local TV show of his own. Her mother was a singer, recording artist and professional dancer. Barry Russo, her uncle, had an extensive career on stage, screen and TV (where he played opposite James Franciscus in "Longstreet", and William Shatner in the Star Trek "Horta" episode).
By the age of eight, Lucrecia was working on her own acts, studying singing, music, dance, and ventriloquism. (her wooden side-kick is still around, sitting atop the piano at home with her violins, and guitars. During the early years, she lived in one town after another - initially traveling with her family. Before breaking out on her own, Lucrecia toured for two years with a 60 member choral group. Lucrecia founded the group, "Betty Boop & The Beat", with Ron Waters (Wasserman) the Mighty Raw and Ron Kenan of Saban Entertainment, who contributed greatly to the group's rise Then with a self-titled rock group and "Lucrecia" reaching world audiences, international play, placing in top 100 charts. Lucrecia continues her studies and is a proud and active member of SAG-AFTRA.
