This Bronx baddie is a fan of the “Brooklyn Baby.”
In a new Billboard interview that honors her as Hitmaker of the Year ahead of their annual Women in Music event, Ice Spice shared her love for some of her favorite artists, including the Born to Die queen herself, Lana Del Rey.
“I would say Lana Del Rey,” Spice said when asked about her favorite hitmakers of all time. “I’m obsessed with her, and I feel like all of her songs are hits, even the ones that aren’t as big as the others.

In the world of comic books, the term “superpowered” individual can mean a lot of things — from the ability to fly to invisibility. But in the wrold of The Power Fantasy, it has a more specific meaning: anyone who has as much destructive power as the United States’ nuclear arsenal.
That’s the pitch for a new book from writer Kieron Gillen and artist Caspar Wijngaard, who revealed their book Friday at Emerald City Comic Con, a convention held in Seattle. In this world, six people are considered superpowered, and the world depends on them never coming into conflict.
“The Power Fantasy emerged in a similar way to The Wicked + The Divine,” said Gillen in a statement. “I was doing a book at Marvel, and became aware of exactly the sort of things I could do with the reins taken off. “As The Wicked + the Divine was to Young Avengers,...

I can almost imagine Out of Darkness’ director Andrew Cumming pitching the film to potential backers as Quest for Fire meets Predator. And that would be a fairly accurate description of this Stone Age thriller about a tribe of early humans being picked off by an unseen foe. And one that makes it sound a lot less cerebral and more commercial than it might otherwise appear.
45,000 years ago, six early humans have left their tribe to find a new home. Leading the group is Adem, who also has his young son Heron and Ave who’s carrying Adem’s child along with him. Also making the trek are Geirr, Adem’s more cautious second-in-command and Odal’s who seems to be some kind of shaman and last, and certainly least,...

A+E’s survivalist format Alone is headed into Germany.
Alone Germany (aka Alone Überlebe die Wildnis) has been given the greenlight by streamer Rtl+. ITV Studios Germany is attached to make the show.
Additionally, a second season of the show has been ordered in Australia, where Sbs ran the first season and saw it record year-best results for an original commission. ITV Studios Australia is behind that version.
Sbs has also acquired the UK version of Alone, as has Tvnz+ in New Zealand The History Channel in the U.S., which was the format’s original home. It has also been optioned in France, Finland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Japan and Korea.
The survival competition series pits 10 competitors against each other, as they attempt to survive in the wilderness alone for the longest time using a limited amount of survival kit. Besides short medical checks, they are left completely to fend for themselves.

Die Hart saw Kevin Hart living his dream of being an action hero in the hit comedy series that started as a launch title for the failed Quibi streaming service. The show found a new home at The Roku Channel, and much like Cobra Kai, it found new life as a success on a wider streaming platform. The show was renewed with a sequel season titled Die Hart 2: Die Harter. That season became a hit when it premiered on Roku, so prepare for season 3 which could very well follow with the title Die Hart with a Vengeance.
Deadline reports that Die Hart 2: Die Harter premiered to record numbers on The Roku Channel, which has led to a season 3 renewal. Season 2 became the No. 1 Roku Original TV series weekend premiere of all time by both unique views and streaming hour engagement. Hart released a statement that said, “Die Hart...
