Luka Shushtakashvili

Luka Shushtakashvili was born on July 14, 1996 in Moscow, Russia.
At the age of five Luka became a soloist of Moscow children's music group "Neposedi" (2001-2011).
In 2002 - 2011 he went to Moscow Alexandrov Music School and got diploma of pianist.
In 2007 Luka performed Tsarevich Fyodor in Mussorgsky Opera "Boris Godunov" at Moscow Bolshoi Theatre.
In 2012 he took composition classes at preschool of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory.
In 2014 Luka moved to The United States and entered The Music Department at City College of NY.
In 2015 Luka took music production class at The Juilliard School. He also took film scoring class at Juilliard the following year where he scored short films, documentaries, advertisements and short segments from popular movies/cartoons.
Since spring 2016 Luka is taking composition classes taught by well-known composer John Corigliano at Lehman College.
In 2017 Luka started attending the Sonic Arts Center at City College of NY.
