After the tremendous success that was Gen V Season 1, all eyes are on The Boys Season 4.
Thankfully, Prime Video has confirmed the next chapter will be streaming in 2024.
To celebrate the news, Amazon unveiled two teaser photos for The Boys Season 4, featuring Billy Butcher, portrayed by Karl Urban, and Homelander, portrayed by Antony Starr.
Both actors recently appeared at the end of Gen V Season 1, setting up the storyline for the original series in the franchise's fourth season.
But a lot can change between seasons, as evidenced by the end of The Boys Season 3 and the end of Gen V Season 1 Episode 8.
We don't fully know how Gen V will impact The Boys Season 4, but it sounds like we're getting an interconnected universe at first glance.
Denis delves into that in Gen V Season 1 Ending Explained and How it Connects to The Boys Season 4.
Casting details have been mostly kept under wraps,...

One of the many oddities of "The Boys" is the way that any character, no matter how terrible, suddenly transforms into an audience surrogate the moment they're trapped in the room with Homelander. A-Train is a selfish, murdering jerk, for instance, but it's hard not to relate to him as Homelander starts making fun of his weight and there's nothing A-Train can do about it. Ashley is a power-hungry corporate stooge, but when she develops a hair-yanking habit from the sheer stress of working with Homelander, we have no trouble understanding why. When Homelander shatters the ear-drums of an innocent, Daredevil-inspired supe, Ashley's horrified expression perfectly matches how we feel.

There are moments in television history that will always be remembered. Iconic moments like the final episode of "Cheers" when Sam Malone turns out the lights at the bar, or the record-breaking finale of "M.A.S.H.," and the unforgettable, uncontrollable giggle that Mary Tyler Moore lets out at Chuckles the Clown's funeral. And, who can forget the epic superhero sex party that took place on season three of "The Boys" at the 70th Annual Herogasm.
There was a deafening level of hype leading up to the "Herogasm" episode, and although it didn't quite reach the X-rated, Dionysian heights found in the pages of the comic book, it was still a show-stopping sequence in a series chock-full of shocking moments. Granted, it's difficult to catch all of the debaucherous acts taking place around the TNT Twin's mansion, including, but not limited to: a floating Starlight vibrator, an icicle dildo, electric nipple clamps,...

Chace Crawford was spotted on the streets of Toronto looking extra buff last week in costume as The Deep, his character on the dark comedy superhero series The Boys.
Crawford has done a stellar job as one of the antagonists of the series, a self-obsessed “Supe,” as they’re known on the show, with aquatic abilities.
Crawford as also filming alongside new cast members for the series Susan Heyward and Valorie Curry, who are playing new superheroes Sister Sage and Firecracker respectively. Anthony Starr who plays one of the most prominent Supes, Homelander, also appeared with his co-stars on set.
The scene appeared to be some sort of public event for the show’s Superhero collective known as The Seven, which we begin the series thinking is just a typically good group of heroes. We soon learn in the first episodes of the show, however, that this group has a...

Perhaps the biggest development in season 3 of "The Boys" is that Vought's beloved group of superheroes, The Seven, lost a couple members. Supersonic is dead, as is Black Noir. Starlight (Erin Moriarty) has left the group forever, and Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott) is no longer even a supe. That leaves only three members left: Homelander (Antony Starr), the Deep (Chase Crawford), and A-Train (Jessie T. Usher). If you're someone who'd actually like to be rescued from a dangerous situation, this is not exactly an inspiring line-up.
So naturally, season 4 will see the addition of a few new members of the Seven, which means we're about to be introduced to some brand new supes. So far, we've gotten a glimpse of two of them: Sister Sage and Firecracker. But who are these two supes? What are their powers? What can we expect from them as we head into the new season?...

One of the funniest running gags in "The Boys" is how the Deep (Chase Crawford) feels a strong emotional connection to all sea-dwelling creatures, yet he can't seem to help accidentally getting them killed. One memorable example of this from season 1 was when he attempted to rescue a dolphin from a SeaWorld park knock-off. When he's forced to slam on the brakes of his getaway vehicle, the dolphin goes flying out the window, rolls around on the road a bit, and is run over by a truck.
The season 2 episode "Over the Hill with the Swords of a Thousand Men" outdid the dolphin...

Working with Karl Urban sounds like it can be kind of an adventure, though maybe not the kind that "The Boys" co-star Jack Quaid wanted to go on. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight along with fellow "The Boys" co-star Laz Alonso, Urban revealed that shooting one sequence on season 2 absolutely terrified Quaid, though when you find out why it's kind of hard to blame him.
For one sequence in season 2, The Boys end up on a speedboat, zooming away from The Deep (Chase Crawford) and some killer sharks before crashing into a beached whale. In order to film the scene, the...

While details are still scarce, we have photos of the cast, as well as the names of their characters, and even a trait.
It's certainly a good way to promote the series because, if you watch Gossip Girl online, you know the series was all about social media.
Let's get to it...
Jordan Alexander as Julien Calloway
Julien's trait is influence, so we're sure she's going to be a great addition to the Gossip Girl universe.
Part of the allure of the original series was how the characters had influence due to money and connections.

The long wait for the Gossip Girl reboot just got longer.
The HBO Max update of the 2007-12 CW drama has been pushed to 2021, according to Vulture.
The popular teen drama series – which originally starred Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Penn Badgley, Chase Crawford, and Taylor Momsen, among others – was set to get a modern-day reboot, complete with a whole new cast on the new WarnerMedia-owned streamer.
Unfortunately, the series was set to go into production around the time the filming shutdowns brought on by the spread of Covid-19, effectively meaning a 2020 premiere would be unrealistic.
"They hadn’t even started production yet; they were in pre-production and ready to roll," HBO Max chief content officer Kevin Reilly recently told the outlet.
"Things that would have been really meaningful and high profile have gotten pushed back," he added of the decision.
The news is unsurprising, and it's better...

We're absolutely inundated with superheroes these days.
From DC adaptations on television to Marvel's mega movie franchise, it feels like we should be all tapped out.
Then a show like The Boys comes into the picture, and superheroes are suddenly fun again.
The series is based on Dynamite Entertainment's The Boys comics created by writer Garth Ennis and artist Darick Robertson (Preacher).
The boys of The Boys are the heroes of this story, but they're not super. They are comprised by a group of humans who have been wronged by the superpowered heroes and aim to put an end to their reign -- or at least drag them down a notch or two.
In many comics adaptations currently on television, especially in the Arrowverse, superheroes begin as vigilantes. They don't all have powers, and even if they do, their efforts are often frowned upon by the general public.

Picture it: a world obsessed with superheroes. Ok, that’s not too hard. Instead, picture a world where people have superpowers, and a lot of them happen to be awful.
That’s the distinction made by “The Boys,” the upcoming Amazon Prime Video series which debuted Monday at the Tribeca Film Festival. The first episode, written by Eric Kripke and directed by Dan Trachtenberg, posits an alternate universe where superheroes protect cities, while their personas are monetized to the extreme by the Vought corporation. There are dozens of superheroes working for Vought, branded and packaged for public consumption, with their real-life sexual deviances and accidental murders treated like any other public relations issue.
Yes, “The Boys” sets itself the challenge of being edgier than your typical superhero fare, leaning on the original comics created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson to make sure the sex and violence are dialed up...
