Born in Mumbai, he completed his schooling at St. Xavier's High School. In his academic years, he was an average student, characterized by a bit of shyness and ambivert tendencies. Despite harboring a deep passion for cricket and aspiring to become a cricketer, the demands of academic life prevented him from joining a cricket club.
At the age of 16, he shifted his focus to martial arts, quickly becoming one of the standout students in his batch, earning numerous medals and certificates. However, as he entered the final year of junior college, his interest veered towards acting. Despite enrolling in a Bachelor of Engineering program at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, University of Mumbai, he decided to pursue his newfound passion, joining an acting school at the age of 18 and subsequently dropping out of his first year of college.
His acting journey commenced at the renowned Barry John Acting Studio in Mumbai. The initial project that brought him recognition was a short film titled 'Lamha,' created as a class project. This film earned nominations at various film festivals, providing him with significant exposure.
Expanding his horizons, he became involved in theatre production, working backstage and participating in workshops with esteemed theatre directors and actors. His theatrical performances graced venues such as NCPA Mumbai and Prithvi Theatre. Additionally, he gained visibility by featuring on the cover pages of local magazines in Mumbai.
