Colleen O'Brien is a Los Angeles based actor who enjoys creating art in both film and theater. She earned a degree in Theater Arts: Performance from the Meisner/Chekhov based program at CSU Long Beach, studying under Hugh O'Gorman (John Adams, Law & Order). Upon completion of her degree, she obtained additional training at The Chekhov School in New York, with notable teachers such as, Joanna Merlin (NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Mystic Pizza, Broadway's original Fiddler on the Roof) and Ragnar Freidank (The New School, Beautiful Hills of Brooklyn). She also studied at Steppenwolf Theater Company's intensive with Jeff Perry (Scandal, August: Osage County - Broadway/London) and Alexandra Billings (Transparent, How to Get Away With Murder). Upon moving to Los Angeles, she gained valuable film training at Lesly Kahn & Co. Colleen continues to train and audition in Los Angeles, where she enjoys the sun, sand and fro-yo.
