Calvin Arash Parshad was born in San Ramon, CA succeeded by his parents, Alex Parshad, a Silicon Valley tech executive, and Tia Fallahi, a Biotechnology educator.
His passion for the theatrical arts followed him early on while attending Henry M. Gunn high school in Palo Alto, CA.
In 2012, Calvin graduated from UCLA where he received his Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience and Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theater - Acting.
He went on to star in multiple short films, including festival submission, Drug Me (2014), along with appearances on the feature film Argo (2012), HBO television series Looking (2014), and Steve Jobs (2015).
