Night at the Eagle Inn is the latest film from Erik and Carson Bloomquist. We’ve been following these filmmakers since way back in 2015 and their first short film The Cobblestone Corridor. Since then they’ve released films like Long Lost and Ten Minutes to Midnight; and now the pair have one of the most anticipated films on last year’s festival circuit making its digital debut in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Since the only thing harder than making a hit film is making another one, the question is, can they keep their streak alive?
Sarah Moss and her twin brother Spencer (Taylor Turner; Lillith) are on a mission to solve a dark mystery from their past. They were born prematurely, their mother died during childbirth.

There’s a closeness between Sarah (Amelia Dudley) and Spencer (Taylor Turner) which goes beyond the fact that they’re twins. It is not, despite the manager’s suggestion, incestuous – the closest they get to that is occasionally flirting with the same men – but rather it stems from the fact that they have never had any other family. As far as they’ve been able to find out, their mother died from complications of childbirth. Their father disappeared. They grew up in the foster care system but seem to have coped pretty well. Now they’re taking a road trip to the Eagle Inn, where they were born, to try and find out more about their origins.
The trip is particularly exciting for Spencer because he’s a big fan of supernatural stories and his research has informed him that several people are said to have gone missing there. When the twins arrive,...

"The hotel, it does something to people... It changes them... Pushes them to their most vulnerable." 1091 Pictures has released an official trailer for an indie horror film titled Night at the Eagle Inn, the latest from director Erik Bloomquist. The film is premiering at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival in Los Angeles coming up soon this month. The description from the fest sets it up: "Fraternal twins spend a terrifying night at a remote inn to investigate the last known whereabouts of their father. As they dive deeper, the property's dark secrets ensnare them in a hellish labyrinth they must escape before dawn." The horror film features Amelia Dudley, Taylor Turner, Beau Minniear, Greg Schweers, and Erik Bloomquist. There's so many Dutch angles in this trailer, which look cool, I just hope there's a good story in there, too. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Erik Bloomquist's Night at the Eagle Inn,...
