Michael Mangione

Michael Mangione was born in Hollywood FL in 1985. He and his family
lived their until 1989, when they moved to Hudson FL, to be closer to
his grandparents.
In 8th grade, Michael switched away from acting and theater style of entertainment, and into behind the scenes roles for television and film making. This would continue for the duration of his time in public school. in 2000, he was enrolled into the Dr. Phillips High School VPA (Visual Performing Arts) magnet program for film production.
After graduating from High School in 2004, Michael continued his education at Valencia Community college in Orlando. At this time, he focused more on attaining his AA in General studies, but continued to take elective classes pertaining to Writing, Film, Theater, and Graphics.
In 2011 he transferred from Valencia to the University of Central Florida. He would continue to work towards a degree in Cinema Studies, before being accepted into their exclusive Bachelor's of the Fine Arts program for Film Production. He graduated from UCF in December of 2014.
In December 2005, he transferred out of the Ride/Show Operations department, and joined the Entertainment department as a A/V Technician. He continued to work as an A/V tech for the department until 2007, when he applied for a set decorator position with the Universal Orlando Art & Design department. As this position was temporary, in 2008, Michael returned to his position as an A/V technician inside the parks.
In 2012 Mike applied and later transferred to a similar position on the Universal Orlando Entertainment Events team. Here he would participate as a Staging, Video, Audio, and Lighting technician for the corporate, seasonal, and special events which occur inside the park. This is a position he still holds today.
Outside of his time in school, and at Universal, Mike also participates in numerous film and television opportunities. To date he has participated in over 50 student and independent film projects, as well as local commercial and theater projects.
