Joe E Delia
Joe Delia is a long-time member of SAG-AFTRA. He has worked as an actor in speaking roles on a variety of TV shows, including TV dramas, re-enactments, and soap operas.
Joe is often cast in authoritative roles, such as Police Detective, Gangster, Mafia Hit Man or Boss, Doctor, and Grandfather. He is especially desired for law enforcement roles as he was an actual L.A. County Sheriff and police hostage negotiator for many years.
His range of complementary accents include various New York types, Italian Mafia, and East L.A. Mexicans. He grew up in East L.A. around Italian and Mexican Mafia members, which gives him special insight into some of the characters he's called to play.
Joe has also been a Professional Certified Polygraph Examiner in his private life. As such, he has also worked as a technical advisor for authentic procedures on films and TV shows, such as The Crystal Skull, The New Dragnet, and others. Other skills include being a fast draw with guns and horseback riding!
One of Joe's passions is collecting vintage cars, some of which he rents for TV shows and films. His collection includes a 1961 Corvette, 1956 Chevy Nomad, 1956 Truck, 1932 Ford Roadster, and a 1926 Ford with a 327 engine.
On the set when not in character, Joe is described as warm, likable and funny... which may explain why he's been happily married for 45 years.
