It looks like the retooled Avengers 5 movie is starting to come together, with Marvel Studios eyeing Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy as the top choice to helm the film.
As first reported by Deadline, Levy has been given the latest script penned by Michael Waldron (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness). Though Marvel is keeping other potential directors in the mix after Levy previously turned down the role in March, it sounds like the studio is doing everything it can to accommodate him.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, the window of opportunity to land Levy comes after Marvel pushed the timetable for Avengers 5 by several months, which could allay any scheduling conflicts with the final season of Stranger Things.
Deadline also has some details about the script for Avengers 5. It previously was centered around Jonathan Majors’ character, Kang the Conqueror, until Marvel parted ways with the actor in December.

Marvel Studios is still finding its director for the much-anticipated Avengers 5, and director Shawn Levy is reportedly at the forefront of prospects. The Canadian filmmaker has quite a lot going on after working on Deadpool & Wolverine, and now, he’s busy with the production of Stranger Things Season 5, so it’s not quite sure whether he wants another job on his plate.

For a while now, the status of Marvel’s next Avengers movie has been in flux. Back in July 2022, Kevin Feige announced that the Multiverse Saga would offer up two major hero team-up movies: Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, and Avengers: Secret Wars. But in the wake of underperforming Phase 4 movies, and Jonathan Majors being dropped as Kang after an assault conviction, the plan changed – The Kang Dynasty is no more, Shang-Chi’s Destin Daniel Cretton stepped down from directing to focus on Shang-Chi 2 instead, and little has moved since then.

Deadpool & Wolverine news has been a little quiet since tickets for the movie went on sale. However, thanks to the Yellow Cab Pizza Co., we have a new look at Hugh Jackman suited up as Logan. And yes, he still isn't wearing the mask!
Weirdly, that shot of Ryan Reynolds' Merc with the Mouth appears to be a promo art rather than a live-action still. It's also new, though, and a piece of imagery which nicely contrasts the different personalities of these heroes.
Two people who likely weren't eating pizzas while shooting Deadpool & Wolverine are Reynolds and Jackman.
During a recent interview, the latter revealed the biggest challenge of reprising his most iconic role. "I have to eat a lot," he explained. "For me, for my body type, I'm naturally skinny. To get the size on, that's the hardest bit. That's the bit that does my head in.

Marvel Studios reportedly wants Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy director to take charge of The Avengers 5.
In what has so far been a summer characterised by underperforming tentpole films, all eyes are on the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine to get bums in cinema seats.
Because the film was pushed from its original May slot into late July, it will be a bit late to save what has so far been a dismal summer at the box office, but cinema operators will likely be happy to see the film no matter when it arrives.
Shawn Levy has directed the film and according to reports, the Free Guy director may well be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to take on the biggest gig of them all: the next Avengers movie. Deadpool & Wolverine Maker Shawn Levy Is Allegedly Being Eyed To Direct Avengers 5(Photo Credit –Shawn Levy/Instagram)
Ahead of the release of Deadpool and Wolverine, Shawn Levy is allegedly getting more good news regarding the next Avengers movie, Avengers 5. The MCU has been going through a rough phase recently, and this Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman can finally bring back the lost glory of Marvel and kick off the summer box office this year. Keep scrolling for more.
Marvel is very cautious about its releases. Only one MCU movie is coming out this year, and Avengers 5 has been shrouded in controversy for a long time, especially after Jonathan Majors’ firing from Marvel. He played the role of Kang the Conqueror and was being set up as the next big baddie in the MCU. Things went down south after he got arrested and was found guilty in the domestic violence case.

Marvel Studios may have finally found a director for the next Avengers movie.
According to both Deadline and THR, Deadpool and Wolverine director Shawn Levy is in talks to helm the project, which was formerly known as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty prior to the departure of Jonathan Majors as the villainous Kang the Conqueror.
The studio reportedly offered Levy the gig in mid-March, but he turned it down at the time as he was still putting the finishing touches on Deadpool and Wolverine and was also working on the final season of Stranger Things.
Apparently, Marvel's decision to "push the film by several months" opened the window of opportunity, and negotiations are now underway.
It sounds like this if far from a done deal, however. Levy is said to have been given the latest script by Michael Waldron, but has not given an answer on whether he will definitely come aboard,...

Deadpool & Wolverine is not in theaters for almost another two months, but the hopes and aspirations of the Marvel Cinematic Universe—and perhaps now the summer movie season box office itself—are already being placed on Ryan Reynolds’ broad, leather-clad shoulders. So it’s not like the Merc with a Mouth needed any more pressure. Yet pressure he might receive if the latest report out of Deadline is true: director Shawn Levy has entered early talks to helm the next Avengers movie.

Director Shawn Levy may be sticking around the Marvel Cinematic Universe a bit longer.
Levy, who helmed this summer’s “Deadpool and Wolverine,” is being eyed by Marvel — though it’s in very early stages — to direct the next “Avengers” movie.
Destin Daniel Cretton, who made 2021’s Marvel movie “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” was previously supposed to direct the fifth “Avengers” movie, but he backed out in November 2023. That movie, which is scheduled for May 1, 2026, also does not currently have a title. It was originally named “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty,” but lost that title after Jonathan Majors, who was cast as the time-traveling villain Kang the Conqueror, was convicted of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend. After this untitled “Avengers” movie, the next will be “Avengers: Secret Wars,” set for May 7, 2027.

The Avengers may be assembling for Shawn Levy.
Levy, who is busy putting the final touches on Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine, is in contention for the film and may be the studio’s choice to direct the next Avengers film.
The development is characterized as very early. Sources say Marvel and Levy are talking about the project and that the studio gave the latest script to the filmmaker late last week. But sources also say that other filmmakers are in the mix for the high-profile gig.
There is reason for some caution. Marvel previously — and quietly — offered the directing gig to Levy in mid-March, but at that point, the filmmaker turned it down. Scheduling was the concern at the time, as Levy is moving from various duties on Deadpool & Wolverine, which opens July 26, to the last season of Stranger Things. As Deadpool & Wolverine stands ready to save the summer box office, Marvel Studios may be looking to director Shawn Levy to save the Avengers as well. Deadline has heard that Levy has been given Michael Waldron‘s script for the next Avengers movie, and while no decisions have been made, it’s possible the studio may be eyeing him to direct the film.
Deadline adds that Marvel is “still planning to meet with other directors while they wait on a decision from [Levy].” However, he’s got some big projects on his slate. He will be “heavily involved” in the final season of Stranger Things and is also developing a Star Wars movie for Lucasfilm. Even if Levy doesn’t end up directing the next Avengers movie, I’d wager that he definitely has a future at Marvel, particularly as the studio seems to have a lot of faith in Deadpool & Wolverine.

For a guy who admits he doesn’t enjoy the hassle of going through airport security and the inevitable inconveniences of international travel, Eugene Levy has been getting around quite a bit lately.
The actor, writer and Schitt’s Creek Emmy winner hopscotches throughout Europe – Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Scotland and more – in the second season of his nonfiction series The Reluctant Traveler, now streaming on Apple TV+. As the title of the series suggests, he’s not a “Heck yeah, I’m up for anything!” kind of guy, and part of the charm of the show is seeing him tiptoe beyond his comfort zone.
Levy joins the latest edition of Deadline’s Doc Talk podcast to discuss what he’s learned about the world and himself while making the show, which is in contention for Emmy consideration. He also explains what finally convinced him to sign onto the series after he turned it down initially.

Michael Schwartz and Tyler Nilson, who made Peanut Butter Falcon, have been hired to direct the English language remake of the Mads Mikkelsen-starring film, Riders Of Justice.
Not long after Riders Of Justice released back in 2021, news emerged that the Danish film would be getting an English language remake.
A revenge thriller told with an eccentric tone and a streak of dark comedy, the original Riders Of Justice (Retfærdighedens ryttere) was popular on its original release, and we gave it four stars in our review. Directed by Anders Thomas Jensen and starring Mads Mikkelsen in a story about ‘a recently deployed soldier who returns home to care for his teenage daughter after his wife is killed in a train accident. But when a team of statistics experts investigating the accident claim foul play, the soldier embarks on a revenge-fuelled mission, along with an eclectic group, to find those responsible.

We're expecting to see some big cameos in Deadpool & Wolverine when it arrives in theaters later this summer.
However, it would be wise to keep expectations in check; after all, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness featured the likes of Professor X and Mister Fantastic but was somehow still deemed a disappointment by many fans (likely because rumours promised Spider-Man and an evil Iron Man played by Tom Cruise).
With that in mind, Deadpool & Wolverine might not be as star-studded as expected, especially with Avengers: Secret Wars on the horizon. Still, we're bound to see some characters from the X-Men franchise's past, right?

However, it would be wise to keep expectations in check; after all, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness featured the likes of Professor X and Mister Fantastic but was somehow still deemed a disappointment by many fans (likely because rumours promised Spider-Man and an evil Iron Man played by Tom Cruise).
With that in mind, Deadpool & Wolverine might not be as star-studded as expected, especially with Avengers: Secret Wars on the horizon. Still, we're bound to see some characters from the X-Men franchise's past, right?

It is a sad state of affairs in Hollywood when you can have such talented actors as Diane Keaton, Kathy Bates and Alfre Woodard, but the best you can do is stick them in boomer-baiting forgettable comedic contrivances like Summer Camp, the latest in a long line of movies for Keaton, who also is a producer on it, in which she is cast with female peers of similar age to mix slapschtick with attempted pathos and senior romance. It is the kind of formula you can sell with a simple pitch: Take three beloved septuagenarian Oscar winning and nominated stars and send them back to the summer camp where they bonded as kids. Hilarity and hijinks ensue, along with giving each a later-in-life regret or dead husband to add a bit of drama to the proceedings. Bingo! The mid-week matinees will be sellouts!

Netflix has greenlit a new adult animated series titled “The Undervale.”
The show hails from creator and showrunner Matt Roller. The official logline states, “A single mother of two struggles to run a haunted hotel with the help of her estranged brother, who is now one of the ghosts and thinks the other ghosts have some pretty good ideas.”
Along with Roller, Chris McKenna also executive produces along with Dan Harmon and Steve Levy. Erica Hayes is the supervising director. Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina of Titmouse will executive produce, with Titmouse providing the animation.
“I’m thrilled to be working with Netflix and an amazingly talented cast and crew to bring to life the stories of the dead, the evil, and the struggling hospitality workers at the Undervale Hotel,” Roller said.

If Hollywood aims to bring older audiences back to theaters by making movies about them, I submit Summer Camp as a case study in what works (Eugene Levy!) and what definitely does not — painfully flat attempts at wackiness being the chief offender. Veering between strained slapstick and thoughtful tête-à-têtes, this boomer-focused reunion comedy strands a game cast of accomplished septuagenarians in a mostly laugh-free zone of zip lines and predictable beats.
Director Castille Landon’s screenplay offers some well-crafted dialogue, but it never adds up to anything resembling momentum. Landon, whose previous features include the Katherine Heigl starrer Fear of Rain and a couple of entries in the After series of romance movies, does get the setting right in a story that brings together three lifelong friends at the sleepaway camp where they first met. The friends are played by Diane Keaton (who also serves as a producer), Kathy Bates and Alfre Woodard.

It happens to many of us above a certain age. You wake up one day, and realize that your life involves neither your childhood besties, nor the carefree bliss you once took for granted. With that in mind, Castille Landon’s wearisome comedy “Summer Camp” ponders, what if there was a way to awaken our inner child and reestablish our priorities later in life through some fun and play? It’s surely a worthy enough premise for a good time, but one “Summer Camp” squanders through dull jokes, an uninspiring story without any real stakes and an overall phony feeling that the film can’t shake.
Indeed, “Summer Camp” often seems only as authentic as a high-end glamping site, when it unsuccessfully tries to convince the audience that it’s the real deal about the virtues of letting your hair down once in a while — a teaching that the film hammers on,...

In 2014 John Skipper, then the president of ESPN, and David Levy, then the president of Turner, signed the paperwork with the NBA to extend its TV deals with TNT and ESPN into 2025.
A decade later, and the veteran sports media executives are now teaming up to try and sell a new basketball league to TV networks and streaming services, one that they are betting will serve a fast-growing sector of the market: Women’s sports.
Skipper and Levy are among the investors in Unrivaled, a three-on-three women’s basketball league co-founded by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier. Unrivaled will launch in January 2025, and Levy and Skipper will spearhead its media rights and sponsorship deals.

When Hugh Jackman bid farewell to Wolverine in 2017's Logan, it was unclear what 20th Century Fox had planned for the clawed mutant moving forward.
Had the Disney/Fox merger not happened (and assuming Dark Phoenix didn't bomb), the next X-Men movie would have likely shifted focus to the 2000s. Given Wolverine's popularity, we'd imagine the idea was to recast the role if not there, then definitely somewhere down the line.
Fortunately, Marvel Studios and Ryan Reynolds managed to convince Jackman to reprise the role for Deadpool & Wolverine. In an interview with People, the actor explained why he walked away from Logan in the first place.
"I had got to the point probably 10 years ago I was like, I'm not enjoying it. It was hurting. It was tough," Jackman admits. "But I've had a break, and I've been doing a lot of dance. I've been doing stage shows. And so...

With Deadpool & Wolverine set to be released in theaters this July, Marvel Comics is getting in on the fun with special variant covers featuring the characters as they'll appear in the MCU.
A special team-up story (set in the comic book Marvel Universe) titled Weapon X-Traction will run as backup tales in eight Marvel titles this summer, with each of those issues boasting movie-themed covers. The story comes our way from writer Ryan North (Fantastic Four) and atrist Javier Garrón (Avengers).
It all kicks off with July's Incredible Hulk #14 and continues through August; while that opening chapter will have a teaser variant cover that uses Garrón’s promotional art for the story, the rest boast pieces made in honour of the upcoming film. They're illustrated by some of the industry’s hottest artists including Steve McNiven, Ryan Stegman, Jorge Molina, Cafu, Declan Shalvey and David Nakayama.

Deadpool & Wolverine will finally bring the Merc with the Mouth and Logan together, and while we're expecting heaps of cameos, there's one we know many of you are eager to see on screen this July.
In case it wasn't already obvious, we're talking about The Hulk. Wolverine debuted in the pages of The Incredible Hulk #180 for an unforgettable clash with the Jade Giant, and Marvel Studios now has the opportunity to recreate that somewhere in the Multiverse.
Offering us an idea of what it might look like is a new fan poster which sees Wolverine and The Hulk in the thick of battle.
As much as we'd love to see this in Deadpool & Wolverine, we wouldn't be surprised if Marvel Studios is saving this for Avengers: Secret Wars. Then again, with The Hulk brought to life with VFX, it might be easy enough to insert the Green Goliath into Wade Wilson and Logan's team-up.

The marketing campaign for Deadpool & Wolverine went into high gear earlier this week when tickets went on sale, but there's still a huge amount we don't know about the movie.
While there are plenty of rumours out there, the trailers have only hinted at the threequel's Multiversal elements with glimpses of the Tva and The Void. Only time will tell whether Taylor Swift dazzles us and the original X-Men return, but at least one cameo has now been confirmed.
In the latest episode of FX's Welcome to Wrexham, Rob McElhenney visits Ryan Reynolds on Deadpool & Wolverine's set to film a cameo.
The actor hides his costume beneath a robe, but there's one shot (at the 2:04 mark) where we can quite clearly see the Time Variance Authority logo on his upper chest. Reynolds even hints that he's playing one of their agents, and it's confirmed here.

Deadpool & Wolverine is now in full promotional mode for the highly anticipated Marvel movie. Recently, a fan-recorded PSA of the movie went viral after hitting online. Although the clip was exclusive to CinemaCon attendees of the R-rated flick, the unofficial online release of it has certainly added a hilarious layer to both the characters’ traits.

Deadpool & Wolverine is this year’s biggest preparation from Marvel Studios as the superhero brand has only the movie slated for theatrical release and they will leave no stone unturned for the growth of seamless box office numbers. The ticket sales of the movie have already been live in select countries but when you get into the theatrical threat, you should be aware of Wolverine’s warning before committing this mistake in the theater.

During this year's CinemaCon, attendees were treated to a special Deadpool & Wolverine PSA. That featured both characters going on a foul-mouthed tirade aimed at moviegoers who don't silence their cellphones. Now, it's found its way online!
The video has started playing in theaters and hasn't been "officially" released (at least not yet). However, we have a version recorded by a fan and this thing is absolutely hilarious.
A very angry Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) makes a series of threats before being calmed down by the Merc with the Mouth (Ryan Reynolds). Things between them get weird fast, but it's clear the clawed mutant doesn't appreciate seeing someone's phone light up or start ringing during a trip to the movies.
This Variant of Logan also appears to have a short temper, something we're sure contributes to his hatred of the chatty Wade Wilson.

Deadpool & Wolverine Stars Tease Cassandra Nova's "Unpredictability" And Reveal Surprise Inspiration
While we've seen a lot from Deadpool & Wolverine in recent weeks, much of the threequel is shrouded in secrecy. The latest trailer offered a glimpse at the movie's villain, Cassandra Nova, though we still don't know what she's up to in The Void.
The prevailing theory is that the twisted twin sister of Professor X hails from the same reality as Deadpool & Wolverine's Logan. If she killed the X-Men before being pruned, it would go a long way in establishing Nova as a threat to the heroes and perhaps even the wider Multiverse.
In a profile of Emma Corrin on Harper's Bazaar, the actor (who uses they/them pronouns), refuses to say too much about playing the villain but confirmed Christoph Waltz's Hans Landa in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds was a key source of inspiration.

Deadpool & Wolverine has all the makings of a $1 billion hit. Those have become a rarity since the pandemic and, in the eyes of many, this will be the movie that puts the Marvel Cinematic Universe back on the right track.
Fans are understandably thrilled to see the Merc with the Mouth and Logan share the screen, though there were initial concerns about bringing Hugh Jackman back into the fold after what proved to be a perfect send-off in 2017.
Logan killed the clawed mutant in a way he can't come back from. Undoing that would be nothing short of sacrilegious, but the latest trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine confirmed this is a Variant of the X-Man who somehow failed his world.
Now, the first meeting between Wade Wilson and Logan is spotlighted in a new still from the upcoming threequel.

Earlier today, we brought you news about Deadpool & Wolverine's record-breaking first day of ticket sales. The Hollywood Reporter has since crunched the numbers, revealing that those stats likely translate into roughly $8 million - $9 million in presales.
Deadline has provided further context, revealing that the movie has topped the 24-hour advance ticket sales for The Batman ($6.5 million) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 ($6 million).
Those eventually went on to make $134 million and $118.4 million during their respective 3-day opening weekends.
You likely won't be surprised to learn that Deadpool & Wolverine is now eyeing a debut of well over $100 million in North America; only time will tell whether it manages to beat Deadpool ($132.4 million) and Deadpool 2 ($125 million), particularly in this post-pandemic landscape.

Deadpool & Wolverine "This Is Cinema" Promo Reveals New Footage From Wade Wilson And Logan's Team-Up
"This. Is. Cinema."
Marvel Studios has released a new promo for Deadpool & Wolverine which sees the Merc with the Mouth brace us for what's to come in the threequel.
Much of what he says appears to have been taken from the recent recording session Ryan Reynolds shared footage from, but there are some never-before-seen snippets of footage to be found here as well.
That includes a new look at Giant-Man's remains in The Void and a Paul Rudd joke previously only seen after fans recorded part of an IMAX-exclusive Deadpool & Wolverine sneak peek in theaters.

Tickets for Deadpool & Wolverine went on sale yesterday and there's clearly a lot of excitement for the movie. According to Fandango, the Marvel Studios movie has broken the 2024 record for best first-day ticket sales.
It's also outpacing Deadpool and Deadpool 2, suggesting the movie will be a box office hit when it opens this July.
After a string of titles have underperformed in recent weeks, exhibitors are desperate for a superhero blockbuster like Deadpool & Wolverine. Unfortunately, last year's strikes mean that's all they (and us) are getting in 2024. Deadpool and Wolverine: Ryan Reynolds Surprised Disney Allowed R-Rating - Main Image
Ryan Reynolds recently admitted that he's surprised about Disney allowing the R-rating for Deadpool and Wolverine, just like the first two films under Fox.
When Marvel Studios announced that they were working on a third Deadpool movie following Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox, some fans were initially concerned that it might not be R-rated since the MCU films are typically around PG-13.
Fortunately, that wasn't the case at all as Marvel Studios assured that it would retain the R-rated tone. The trailers released so far also iterate that it will still be a violent and raunchy affair.

2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine was the clawed mutant's first solo movie...and an utter disappointment. Despite that, the hero did ultimately get a (somewhat disjointed) trilogy thanks to The Wolverine and Logan, with both proving to be significant improvements.
The latter ended Hugh Jackman's run as Wolverine by killing the character, and we expected that to be it for him. Heck, so did the actor himself as Jackman confirmed on multiple occasions that he was retiring from a role he'd been cast in nearly two decades earlier.
Ryan Reynolds managed to convince Jackman to make a comeback and he'll now play a different Wolverine Variant in this summer's Deadpool & Wolverine.

Marvel fans have been ecstatic since the announcement of Deadpool and Wolverine’s long-awaited team-up. With tickets now on sale for the highly anticipated third installment of the Deadpool franchise, fans are eagerly devouring every piece of information they can get their hands on.

The topic of cameos—more especially, the potential for characters like Elektra, Mystique, and Storm to show up in Deadpool & Wolverine—was discussed during the Fandango interview.

The Taylor Swift as Dazzler rumors first began when the singer's likeness was used for the musical mutant's album cover in X-Men: Apocalypse. Nothing ever came of it back then, but the rumors persisted.
Speculation really kicked into overdrive when the pop megastar was spotted at the Kansas City Chiefs versus New York Jets game with Deadpool and Wolverine director Shawn Levy and stars Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson) and Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) in 2023.
Levy was asked about the Dazzler rumors last year, and declined to confirm or deny Swift's involvement in the R-rated threequel.
“I’m going across the board. ‘No comment’ because that’s a double whammy. That’s Taylor-related. And it’s McU-related. I’m no dummy. You’re going to have to wait and see.”
Earlier today, shortly after tickets for the movie went on sale, Reynolds was asked about a potential part for Swift.

Deadpool & Wolverine is an R-rated movie, and star Ryan Reynolds says he’s “surprised” Disney gave the filmmakers the creative freedom to get there.
“I’m really proud of them for doing this,” Reynolds said in an interview with Fandango. “I think it’s a huge step for them. It adds a whole other color to this kaleidoscopic wheel that is that company and the different people that they have been entertaining for forever.”
He continued, “I was surprised though that they let us go as Hard R… but very grateful. I mean, there’s no other way to do it. For this character and this world, and particularly Logan being an R-rated film as well, I felt like that was the most full-throated version of Wolverine or Logan that we’ve ever seen as well, so it really allowed us a lot of freedom, not exploiting the R...

Ryan Reynolds said in a new video interview with Fandango that he is “surprised” Disney allowed the upcoming “Deadpool and Wolverine” to be so R-rated. The movie is the first “Deadpool” film to be released under Disney following the company’s acquisition of Fox, which made Reynolds’ first two R-rated “Deadpool” movies that grossed just over $780 million each at the worldwide box office. Comic book fans feared Disney might tamp down the franchise’s R-rating given its commitment to family entertainment, but Reynolds and director Shawn Levy were granted permission to continue with the raunchy humor.
“I hope it doesn’t sound condescending, I’m really proud of them for doing this. I think it’s a huge step for them,” Reynolds said about Disney letting a film be R-rated “I mean, it adds a whole other color to this kaleidoscopic wheel that is that company and the different people...

Marvel debuted a new 60-second promo (check it out here) and poster for Deadpool and Wolverine earlier today when tickets went on sale, and we now have an updated synopsis for the studio's "most significant mistake to date."
We've seen a few different versions (most likely placeholders for merchandizing purposes) of this logline already, but this is by far the most unserious yet!
“Marvel Studios presents their most significant mistake to date - Deadpool & Wolverine," it reads. "A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life. His days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. When his homeworld faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit-up again with an even more reluctantlier... reluctanter? Reluctantest? He must convince a reluctant Wolverine to - F*ck. Synopses are so f*cking stupid.”
It seems clear that the marketing for D&w is going to take the piss at every given opportunity,...
