Maribel Vazquez(II)
Maribel Rosado Vazquez is an actress,singer,songwriter, and screenwriter. Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico on June 7,1990 to Puerto Rican mother Maria Vazquez and father Diojenes Rosado from both Dominican Republic and Spain descent. She has one sibling from same parents two years older her name is Diomaris Rosado. Her parents decided to move to New York in 1992. Her Father got arrested for being involved with drugs when she was only three years old, at the age of five her parents divorced. Her father got deported to Dominican Republic and that was the last time she saw him. Her mother became a single mother of two daughters with the help of her brother who used to take care of them every two weeks of the month. In 1999 her mother got married to her stepfather and still current married. Maribel was raised in a Christian church going every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. At the age of nine she began to preach and sing in the kids service. Going through a tough childhood along with her sister and not being raised with her biological father made her stronger every day. Developing her writing skills at the age of twelve with poetry, films, and songs. Therefore she involve herself in school plays. She auditioned to an online poetry contest in 2004 and she won a trip to Las Vegas and also a one time chance to share her poetry with a huge audience, but her stepfather didn't approve so that opportunity was crushed. At that same age she joined her school choir and developed herself as a singer throughout performances. Being physically abused for years and having her life in danger she reached out to her uncle once again who help her move along with her sister to Puerto Rico. At the age of sixteen she realized she had potential in modeling. She began to audition for Elle models and different magazines but because of her height she never got an opportunity. She also got involve in short films in college. At the age of nineteen got pregnant and conceive her child Yanniel Navarro Rosado. Indifference with the father of her child Andres Navarro, current professional Puerto Rican boxer made her a single teen mom. Not giving up on her dreams in 2013 she participated as an extra in the film 22 jump-street. In 2014 she appeared in a Banco Popular commercial.
