- Jeff was born outside of Dallas in 1995. After his family moved to Northern California in 1996, Jeff would begin to gradually find his passion as time progressed. After seeing Jurassic Park (1993) at an early age, the trajectory for his life was set. From renting shlocky creature features at the local video stores, to his family encouraging his passion and the appreciation for the craft of filmmaking grew, he knew movies were the center focus of his life.
After graduating High School, Jeff spent nearly 7 years working in the independent film scene in/around the Sacramento area, primarily as a production assistant, where he began networking with fellow artists in various fields.
After investing in the necessary gear, Jeff began writing, directing and editing his own films beginning in 2021 with his closest filmmaking friends he met along the way under his new production company, Midnight Boardwalk Productions, LLC.
After the completion of Jeff's most creatively ambitious project yet, 'Burnouts', Jeff relocated to Austin, Texas to grow his business, collaborate with local artists and do what he loves most, making movies.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Jeff Poindexter
