Charles Steven Duran began his career in 2004 as a music video director, quickly gaining recognition for his unique visual style and ability to create engaging stories. In 2007, Duran entered the MMA community and began filming commercials and documentaries for various brands and fighters. He worked closely with some of the biggest names in the sport, and his passion for the art of storytelling continued to grow. In 2019, Duran worked on a documentary called "All Its Name Implies," which focuses on the Northern California Camp Fire. The film was helmed by his cousin, Ev Duran, and earned them an EMMY nomination for their poignant and powerful storytelling. Duran's work in the independent film scene has garnered significant attention, including his collaboration with director Brian Hooks on the feature film "Adam and Eve." Shot during the COVID-19 pandemic, the film was one of the first to be produced under challenging circumstances and was praised for its powerful storytelling and innovative visuals. Duran continues to work in the film industry, combining his passion for storytelling with his technical expertise to create engaging and thought-provoking films. He is known for his dedication to his craft and his ability to bring complex stories to life on screen.
