Jane Jordan
- Additional Crew
- Producer
Married in 1967, Jane moved to Virginia, where her husband was
stationed while in the Air Force. She bore and raised two children--a
son and a daughter--and after 46 years of marriage, divorced and
embarked on a new and fulfilling life as a full-time professional
nanny.
Writing prose for many decades (but not published), Jane embarked on a new and exciting career in September of 2009--screenwriting. Her first screenplay--"Baby Daddy"--a coming-of-age story, placed in the top 25% of over 4,416 screenplays entered in the 2010 Page International Screenwriting Competition. This validated for her that she must be doing something right, and that maybe this screenwriting thing could be the answer to becoming a part of the entertainment industry, with which she had been fascinated since childhood.
After writing two more screenplays, both romantic comedies, and spending years trying to get someone interested in buying and producing them, Jane embarked on yet another writing adventure. She has not given up on writing screenplays, but when the opportunity to write a non-fiction book based on her experiences as a mother, grandmother and professional nanny was presented, she wrote "The Parent Trap: 51 Things to Consider Before Becoming a Parent." Presently, Jane is editing and doing some minor rewrites on the "The Parent Trap," and hopes for publication the summer of 2014.
