- Bayra Bela, a Mongolian actress and producer, earned her Master's in Acting for Screen at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London through the prestigious Chevening Scholarship. Currently, she is producing "The Mongol Khan," a theatrical spectacle in London's West End, which is also set to play at Singapore's Marina Bay Sands. Additionally, she stars in the Amazon Original Series "The Power" as Solongo on Amazon Prime. Notable credits include roles in Netflix's "Marco Polo," Steven Seagal's "Attrition," and Christopher Coppola's "Sacred Blood," alongside leading roles in numerous Mongolian films. In 2019, she earned the "Best Actress Award" at the 41st International Women Filmmakers Festival in Florence for her role in "Blue Destiny."
A member of the Hollywood Professional Association since 2021, Bayra Bela completed two innovative projects exploring cloud production during the pandemic: the short film "Kintsugi" in London and the short animation "Shadow" in Ulaanbaatar, both emphasizing COVID-19's impact.
Dedicated to promoting Mongolian culture and film globally, Bayra Bela initiated the "Hollywood in Mongolia" First International Film Artists Festival in 2019 and published the first official Mongolian translation of "The Power of the Actor" by Ivana Chubbuck. Additionally, she worked as a consultant to the Mongolian National Film Council. She has contributed to various film projects, including serving as a cultural consultant for a new character in the popular video game "League of Legends."
Beyond her artistic endeavors, Bayra Bela is a committed advocate for social and ecological causes. Recognized as a UN REDD+ Eco Ambassador to Mongolia in 2017, she has dedicated over a decade to ecological efforts, including her leadership in Mongolia's "My Club" eco-community, which planted over one million trees to combat climate change. She has also served as an Eco Ambassador for Ulaanbaatar City.
