Shelly Dorani, a native of Chicago, IL, emerged as a
versatile athlete during her formative years,
excelling in five sports and ultimately earning a
Division I scholarship for Javelin. Her dedication to
both academics and athletics culminated in the
attainment of a Bachelor of Science degree in
Communication & Media. In 2013, Shelly embarked on a
transformative journey, relocating from Florida to Los
Angeles to pursue her passion for the performing arts.
Committed to honing her craft, she underwent training
in Improv at Second City in Chicago, engaged in scene
study at AMAW in West Hollywood, and immersed herself
in the intricacies of film fighting through
specialized training with 87eleven Action Design in
Los Angeles, CA.
Shelly's achievements in the film industry were
recognized at the 48hr Chicago Film Festival, where
she received the Best Screenplay award for her
outstanding work on the film "Love John". This
accolade stands as a testament to her talent and
dedication to the art of storytelling in the realm of
cinema.
