- Is an alumna of the acclaimed Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute along with many of the world's most successful actors including Dustin Hoffman, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johansson.
- Holds double major degrees in Psychology and English from Bogazici University, an ivy-league Turkish university in Istanbul, Turkey.
- On her feature film debut "Alina," worked with the acclaimed American director Bobby Roth whose directing credits include Lost (2004), Prison Break (2005), Revenge (2011) and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013). As a result of a legal dispute among the producers, the film is still pending release for 2016.
- Founded Bosphorus Art Project, a non-profit organization based in Phoenix, Arizona, with the goal of building a bridge between American and Turkish cultures and organized Turkish Film days and cultural seminars with prominent Turkish names.
- Worked with the famous Turkish actor Tamer Karadagli on her film debut. They have been good friends ever since.
- Is a huge fan of James Cameron.
- Made her first film at the age of 7 using two VCRs and creating a very simple editing system without needing any extra equipment.
