Colin MacDougall(II)
- Producer
- Production Designer
Colin MacDougall was born in San Diego, California. At six months old he started his life as a "military brat" that resulted in attending sixteen schools across the United States. This constant exposure to different cultures, lifestyles, and people cultivated an intense adoration for personal stories and the people who lived them. Colin always knew he wanted to "make movies" and hung up his jack-of-all-trades hat to pursue a career as a Producer. Surviving adolescent homelessness (brought about solely due to his sexual preference) forced him to dream bigger and work harder to attain access to any industry. His extremely varied work experience included successes in Air Travel, Real Estate, and Fine Dining. He started his industry dream in Atlanta managing a Brand Integration office and soon moved to Los Angeles. Using his knowledge in historic home restoration, he became a Set Dresser - always leaning towards gaining more knowledge and experience in the route to becoming a Producer. That intense drive and persistence led to a successful crossover into Producing and acceptance into the Producers Guild of America. His career spans many genres (a feat not typical of the industry) including Commercials, Scripted and Non-Scripted Television, Film, and high-profile Podcasts. He believes that media has the greatest opportunity to change the world around us for the better and is continuously fighting for diversity and inclusion to become an international standard rather than an exception.
