- (1990) He left his father's grocery store for a job as an Adolescent Counselor at Rivendell Psychiatric Center in Benton, Arkansas. He still claims that the job was his favorite job he has ever had.
- (1990) He began working at The Bridge-way Psychiatric hospital as an "on-call" adolescent counselor.
- (2006 - 2014) Began teaching for the Pulaski County Special School District in Little Rock, Arkansas. He teaches for Little Rock Mills High School. He has taught Psychology each year he has been at Mills and in addition has taught Journalism, American History, Yearbook, and Newspaper. He has coached varsity football each year. He was head baseball coach from 2006-2010. He was head softball coach from 2010-12. He once again became head baseball coach in 2012 and remains currently.
- (1983) His first job working at his fathers grocery store in Sheridan, Arkansas. He had two major complaints: "How can it be sane to arrive at a grocery store, or anywhere for that matter, at 5am to unload a diesel full of groceries by hand," and "Why in the hell is it so important to not have your bread smashed?"
- (1987) He began what he thought was going to be his future career by umpiring. His first umpiring job was for the Babe Ruth league in Sheridan, Arkansas.
- (1990) He began what he thought was going to be the easiest way to make money that he had ever thought of. He began a lawn mowing service with a friend of his in March and mowed yards daily until November of that year. He saved all of the money he earned from the mowing but spent all of it for a trip to Tampa, Florida to see the band KISS in concert. To this day, he has no regrets calling his actions, "the best reason I can think of to spend money. KISS is the best band of all time!!"
- (1991) In addition to working at Rivendell and The Bridge-way, he began working at his fathers grocery store again in order to make additional money.
- (1991) He left his job at Rivendell and began work at The Youth Home, Inc. in Little Rock, Arkansas as an adolescent counselor.
- (1992) In January, he left Youth Home and started working at Arkansas Children's Hospital - Turning Point Adolescent. He was married to Misty Nichole Moody on November 20, 1992.
- (1993-94) He resigned from Children's Hospital and started his first job in Education as a teacher and a coach for the Sheridan Public School System in Sheridan, Arkansas. He taught a students with behavioral disorders in grades 7-9. He also was an assistant junior high football coach, assistant junior high girls basketball coach, and an assistant varsity baseball coach. His first child, Shandy Nichole Nooner was born on July 6, 1994.
- (1994-95) He left Sheridan Junior High School and took a job with the Carthage School System in Carthage, Arkansas. He taught K-12 Special Education and was the head softball coach.
- (1995) Turned down a teaching job with the Cutter Morning Star school district in Hot Springs, Arkansas to go back to work at his father's grocery store.
- (1998 - 2001) He purchased his fathers grocery store and the name was changed to Sav-Mor Discount Foods. His wife, Misty, and himself were the sole owners of the business. In 1999 he lost a bet with an employee and as a result he had to attend an open call for aspiring actors which was held in Little Rock, Arkansas. After the meeting, he received a call back and was invited to attend auditions in Dallas, Texas for several television shows; one of which was "Baywatch." He refused to go. He did go to The Agency, Inc. in Little Rock and thus his "acting" career began.
- (2001 - 2005) The grocery store was closed down and Glynn went back into teaching. He took a job with the Pine Bluff School District in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He taught Advanced Placement Psychology, coached junior high football, and varsity baseball. Was honored to have the privilege to coach with the legendary Billy Bock for two years.
- (2005 - 2006) Left Pine Bluff and started teaching with the Poyen School District in Poyen, Arkansas. He taught Advanced Placement Psychology, coached football, and varsity baseball.
