Jeremiah Ginsberg
Graduated from UCONN with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature.
Entered New York Law School and graduated with a Juris Doctorate.
Passed the bar exams in New York and Connecticut. Practiced
Entertainment Law with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in NYC,
Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI), and Columbia Records. Practiced Business
Law with General Electric Credit Corp. Private practice in New Canaan,
CT. Taught Business Law at Western Connecticut State University. Also
an accomplished musician, composed music and wrote lyrics for songs
which were recorded by major jazz artists Gloria Lynne, Kay Starr, Lana
Cantrell, Helen Merrill and others. In 1981, wrote and produced the
award-winning musical, "Rabboni," in Los Angeles and off-Broadway in
NYC in 1985. Won a Bronze Halo Award from The Southern California
Motion Picture Council in 1981 for "Producing, composing and writing
the great dramatic musical, Rabboni." In 1997, wrote, produced and
directed "Mendel & Moses" in Los Angeles. In 2008, wrote, produced and
directed "The Time of Mendel's Trouble" off-Broadway at The Beckett
Theatre in NYC. In 2013-2014, wrote, produced and directed the
operetta, "Esther, Sweet Esther."
