John Henry is an American film and television actor in New Orleans,
Louisiana. He is originally from Beaumont, Texas and has lived and
worked in Houston, Texas as a Pediatric Nurse specializing in
Neonatology and Pediatric ER at Texas Children's Hospital. While
visiting his brother in Baton Rouge, John met Nicholas Cage in a
coffee shop where they had an exhilarating conversation about acting
and the film industry. That conversation ignited a spark in John to
pursue an acting career. In one week, John was called as an extra in
the movie "Focus" where he also obtained a featured part next to Will
Smith. A month later, John auditioned and landed the role as a grave
digger in "American Horror Story." John also was a stand-in and body
double for Lance Reddick-- in American Horror Story. While on the set
of American Horror Story, John worked with Angela Bassett, Jessica
Lange, and also Katy Bates, who not only shared their insights but
treated him as an equal which has turned that initial spark into an
inferno. John's focus on acting has brought him to study with
well-known acting coaches--Veleka Grey and Daniel DuPont. He has a role
on the new Sci-Fi series "Star-Crossed" airing on the CW Network. John
remains committed and focused on growing as a professional actor and
having some fun on the way.
