- Ton Gadioli has always had artistic talent. He started very early to play the bass guitar, migrating to the guitar and consecutively to the electric guitar. In love with music, he set up a band in the middle of the 90's, which lasted little since soon another passion was about to come. With friends from school, he started to record pilot of radio programs on K7 tapes, which were a huge success among the students from his school. Therefore, soon, he started writing screenplays together with his friends, however, with no money and technology, such screenplays never got out of the paper. In the beginning of 2000, then, Ton manages to buy his first camera, a VHS, and builds a small edition studio and, again with friends, he starts shooting trash movies and posting on the Internet, and soon they became very popular in Rio de Janeiro. In 2003, Ton shoots his first short film, entirely in English, entitled "Trust", a horror movie in the style of Sam Rammi. In 2004, with some visibility, Ton is invited to lecture for 1st- semester Cinema students in a University and also to join the team of a "College short film", signing as Associate Producer and Editor. From this point on, Ton Gadioli starts working as a Video Editor. Constantly investing in his own career and pursuing his knowledge improvement, he takes several courses in the area: Production, Editing, Direction, and Photography Direction. As an Editor, he works in several short film productions, commercials and political campaigns for several parties and in several towns. Besides that, he takes over the direction of some video clips. In 2005, he shoots his second short film, entitled "Vida Longa" (Long Life), a drama this time. In 2006, he graduates in Cinema and starts his own Production Company, named "Máfia Filmes" (Mob Films), soon producing some TV shows for cable TV channels as well as some "private time" shows on Rede Bandeirantes and CNT networks, and starts shooting the long documentary "Mr. Niterói - O Filho Pródigo" (Mr. Niteroi - The Prodigal Son), which, unfortunately, gets interrupted one year later due to misundertanding with partners. With no money, no equipment nor a team, Ton Gadioli gets himself together and goes back to studying, taking classes in Executive Production, Incentive Law (Governamental Programs for the area), Project Formatting and also a series of Direction classes with Brazillian Movie Industry stars, as for instance Cláudio Torres, Cacá DIegues, Walter Salles and Bruno Barreto. In 2009, he enrolls a Training Program in the Production of "Filhos do Carnaval", an HBO channel series, and produces the short film "Pau Brasil", of Gláucia Pelliccione, with Virgínia Cavendish and Felipe Camargo, in an adaptation of Rubem Fonseca's work, such film being selected for the Toronto Film Festival in 2011. In 2010, he gets back to recapturing the production of the documentary "Mr. Niterói", but this time changing the name to "A Lírica Bereta" (The lyric beretta). In 2011, Ton dedicates himself to launching his first long film in Festivals and Cinema Exhibitions, besides also launching a non-launched short, which he shot in 2007 when he still ran "Máfia Filmes" (Mob Films), called "Eu te Amei" (I Loved you), a drama about the breaking up of a relationship. The long "Mr. Niterói - A Lírica Bereta" (Mr. Niteroi: The Lyric Beretta) is chosen and wins in the category of "Best Character" for Black Alien, in the Movie Festival of Cabo Frio and is also invited to participate in the Festival Ponto - CE in Fortaleza and in the Festival Araribóia, in Niterói. On the day of his debut, on November 24, 2011 in Niteroi, the small auditorium of the UFF (Federal Fluminense University) was packed with more than 500 people and more than 50 people outside wanting to get in.
In April 2012, Ton Gadioli works as a Production Assistant in the Italian long film "Venezia Vitta", in the same month traveling to Rome to shoot the short "I'ufficio" also as a Production Assistant.
