- Richmond Chandler is an American Actor and Musician who grew up studying and performing in Hollywood, California, Caracas, Venezuela, Bogota, Colombia, Quito, Ecuador, Miami, Florida, Boston, Massachusetts and Manhattan, New York, to name a few. He is a classically trained piano player, actor, singer and tap dancer, having studied with private coaches his entire life, as well as attending the University of Southern California, Mickey Rooney's Talent Town, USA and The American Radio Network among others. He has studied with some of the most respected teachers and coaches in the business, including: Louis Fantasia, Anna Devere-Smith, Stephen Book, Ron Manuel-Ellison, Rosalba Cash and Lew Hunter, and continues to study, practice and learn from wherever possible. In addition to performing, Mr. Chandler has also been an On-Air Radio Personality in Los Angeles, Written a Magazine Column, a Blog and is a published writer and Songwriter.
Mr. Chandler has spent a great deal of time on stage, first gaining attention at the age of 12 for his role as Crown Prince Chaufa Chululongkorn in "The King and I". He is also a trained chef, and is fluent in various languages including Spanish, French and Irish. Mr. Chandler sites some of his most interesting highlights as Playing Puck in Shakespeare's "A Mid-Summer Night's Dream in New York City, being able to perform at a historic club in Paris, France and in Greenwich Village, New York, be a Guest DJ for a night in Ibiza and was honored when Studs Terkel (author of "Working") personally commended him for his portrayal of "The Mason" in the musical version of Mr. Terkel's play.
