A few months ago, Gypsy-Rose Blanchard appeared on The View after she was paroled from prison.
While she did not make another appearance on The View, recent events in her life prompted Joy Behar to bring her up again.
Joy got into trouble with fans for saying that Gypsy-Rose had no choice but to kill her mother and needed to be reminded by Ana Navarro that “murder is wrong” when Gypsy-Rose was on the show.
Gypsy-Rose has separated from her husband of two years just months after being released from prison and has found a new boyfriend, and the ladies on The View all have opinions.
People reported that Gypsy-Rose is back with an ex-fiance, and the ladies had a field day talking about “prison love.”
In a clip that Joy introduced on the show, Gypsy-Rose is heard saying she is “hopeful for the life I am going to make.

Unicef USA has appointed star of Netflix’s adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize winning novel All the Light We Cannot See, Aria Mia Loberti, as the organization’s newest Ambassador.
The announcement comes while Loberti is advocating on Capitol Hill for equitable access to education and recognition of how the climate crisis disproportionately impacts women and girls.
Loberti, a lifelong activist, began working with Unicef USA in 2022. In addition to traveling with Unicef to Kosovo to see the organization’s work firsthand, she has supported Unicef USA’s efforts to pass the Read Act Reauthorization in the United States as well as used her platform to amplify the voices of youth changemakers.

Nicholas Galitzine may have told his parents that he has a lot of sex scenes in “Mary & George” with both women and men, but that didn’t keep things from getting awkward when his mom and dad were by his side at the series’ London premiere.
“I was kind of in hysterics because there is nothing more uncomfortable than watching your son bed a number of characters even within the first few episodes,” the British actor, 29, tells me during a wide-ranging conversation on this week’s “Just for Variety” podcast.
“Mary & George” chronicles the real-life story of Mary Villiers (Julianne Moore), a woman in 17th century England who was so hungry for power that she successfully pushed her son George (Galitzine) into becoming lovers with King James (Tony Curran). Created by D.C. Moore, the seven-episode series is based on the non-fiction book “The King’s Assassin: The Fatal...

Jennifer Lopez may have gotten a ton of awards season buzz for her work in the 2019 drama “Hustlers,” but she didn’t walk home with any major honors.
In fact, she reflected on not receiving any top prizes in the entertainment world at Monday’s Elle Women in Hollywood event. “I don’t have an Oscar. And I don’t have a Golden Globe. And I don’t have a Grammy or a SAG Award or a BAFTA or a Critics Choice or a Hollywood Film Award,” the multi-hyphenate said after being presented with this year’s Icon Award by Universal Pictures boss Donna Langley.
“But this is my fifth Icon Award,” Lopez said. “Of all the things that I thought I would grow up to be when I was a little girl, the last thing you know I was gonna have on my list was icon.”
Not that Lopez is complaining about the recognition.

Imagine the 96th Academy Awards ceremony opening with an epic “Barbie” musical medley.
According to Puck’s “What I’m Hearing” newsletter, The Academy wants it to happen. Who foots the bill on the production is another story. Typically the studios are responsible, but as Matthew Belloni writes, “Warners is selling off movies to raise money these days. By the time the Oscars arrive, marketing and awards budgets are spent, so who knows?”
But with three major songs vying for awards recognition — Dua Lipa’s disco pop ode “Dance the Night,” Ryan Gosling’s climactic centerpiece “I’m Just Ken” and Billie Eilish’s ballad “What Was I Made For?” — “Barbie” is the obvious pick for an extravagant Oscars musical number.
Director Greta Gerwig has been out campaigning for the three songs, which will all likely make the original song shortlist next next month, but only two songs from a given film can land nominations,...

Giambattista Valli, the Italian designer known for creating oversize silhouettes while wowing audiences with his bodacious gowns, took a more low-key design approach for his Spring Summer 2024 collection unveiling on Sept. 29. Valli has been on so many red carpets this year, on such stars as Penélope Cruz and Yara Shahidi to Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Perhaps this could be why actors Madison Bailey, Lucy Hale, and Sofia Carson were posted front row at the show, plotting their next Valli red carpet moment post the actor’s strike. Also, front row were socialites David Blasberg and Ivy Getty, and Olivia Palermo and her model husband Johannes Huebl.

Nicholas Galitzine first gained attention when he played Prince Charming opposite Camilla Cabello in the 2021 film musical adaptation of “Cinderella.” The project launched a career that seems to have been going non-stop ever since.
In “Purple Hearts,” a romantic drama from Netflix, Galitzine played a troubled Marine who falls for an aspiring singer (Sofia Carson) after they marry in order to get military benefits. It became a bona fide hit, with Netflix claiming it was the streamer’s third-most watched film of 2022.
Now, Galitzine, 28, can be seen in Amazon Prime’s “Red, White & Royal Blue,” director Matthew López’s feature adaptation of the bestselling LGBTQ romance novel of the same name.
Galitzine stars in the movie as another prince — but this time it’s England’s Prince Henry, an heir to the throne who falls in love with Alex (Taylor Zakhar Perez), the son of the U.S. president...

As the 76th Cannes Film Festival heats up, some of the world’s biggest stars are hitting the red carpet for the premieres of the festival’s buzziest films.
“Jeanne du Barry” opened the festival on May 16, which follows a young working class woman’s relationship with King Louis Xv (Johnny Depp). The film has received criticism for opening the festival, as it marks Depp’s comeback to cinema after he won a defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard. Director and co-star Maïwenn has also been the focus of controversy, as she admitted to spitting on a French journalist in February. Depp and Maïwenn were on hand for the premiere of the film, and other stars including Uma Thurman, Helen Mirren, Elle Fanning and John C. Reilly also stepped out in their best looks.
