General Hospital spoilers report Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) was gearing up to present a pretty formidable storyline months back when we realized she was practically stalking Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
The fans continue to lament that we’ve barely seen Charlotte since the truth came out and obliterated Anna’s relationship with Charlotte’s father, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
General Hospital Spoilers — Therapy Takes Time
Instead of telling Anna the truth about Charlotte’s condition, he protected his daughter, which ended in Anna shooting Charlotte after she broke into her apartment. And that’s it? That’s where the story ends? Anna and Valentin are over and Charlotte seeks therapy?
We’re not going to learn how her grandfather, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), played her like a fiddle and messed with her mind Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)-style?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) absence from Port Charles for the last two years has been addressed. As viewers know, Jason was apprehended by the FBI and taken to Quantico.
While there, John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) offered Jason a deal. Jason was to either work for FBI as an informant, or Cates would have Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) arrested and sent to prison for 20 years. As of this writing, Carly still has no idea the sacrifice Jason made for her.
General Hospital Spoilers – Steve Burton Has Some Insight!
There have been complaints that Jason sacrificed everything for Carly, including time with his two sons, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Jake Webber (Hudson West). But Burton didn’t agree with the complaints.
During a recent episode of the Daily Drama podcast with Bradford Anderson, the two discussed the matter.

General Hospital predictions wonder who Jason Morgan will find romance with now that his three biggest former flames are unavailable on the ABC soap opera.
Jason Morgan Needs Romance on General Hospital
Recently, on Gh, Jason Morgan returned to Port Charles after being presumed dead for over two years. Now that he’s back, he’s trying to readjust and rebuild his relationships. Of course, he needs to work on his relationships with his sons, Danny Morgan and Jake Webber.
But eventually, Jason is going to need romance. Before he supposedly died in Greece, he was smitten with firecracker, Britt Westbourne. But, he broke things off with her to marry Carly Corinthos Spencer. Of course, the main reason he married Carly was because of the mob business.
Gh | ABC
However, they eventually fell back in love with each other on General Hospital. Then, Carly’s now- ex-husband, Sonny Corinthos, came back from the dead.

Is Spencer coming back to General Hospital? That’s a question Gh fans are asking after a recent episode.
Today, Gh fans saw Trina (Tabyana Ali) visit Spencer’s (Nicholas Chavez) grave after a talk with Aunt Stella (Vernee Johnson).
It’s been a struggle for Trina to accept Spencer’s death.
The fact that Spencer’s body was never found has only made things harder for her.
General Hospital fans know that when there’s no body in a death, it almost always means a character will return.
So, is that the case for Spencer? Let’s take a look at what we know.
Is Spencer coming back to General Hospital?
The answer to whether Spencer is coming back to Gh is yes. Having Spencer die was never meant to be a long-term thing, nor was it meant to be dragged out.
It was simply a way to write out Nicholas Chavez.

General Hospital spoilers suggest Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has loved and lost many women in his lifetime, but only a few really stand out in his past as being the great loves of his life.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was his wife — and his ride-or-die girlfriend for many years prior. But domestic life had an impact on Sam, making her long to settle down, and Jason wasn’t in agreement.
Ultimately, their marriage didn’t last. Jason’s time with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was cut short by similar realities.
She didn’t want to raise her son with Jason, knowing his line of work presented so many dangers to the young man. Last but not least, Jason’s latest marriage — to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) — was annulled. But is she still holding out hope for rekindling?

General Hospital spoilers tease that another week about Jason (Steve Burton) is upon us.
The build-up for this has been months in the making, and now, he’s ready to call his lawyer before anyone else gets wrapped up in this mess.
Michael (Chad Duell), Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), and Danny (Asher Jared Antonyzyn) are all in the know. Jason is hiding out in the Quartermaine boat house, and the search for him is closing in.
As they worry about what’s happening around them, John “Jagger” Cates is hunting Jason. He’s checking all the boxes with known connections because someone else is hiding him if he’s not with Carly (Laura Wright).
No one is genuinely convinced Jason shot Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), but the evidence and situations aren’t aligning.
Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) is the only one who can truly help Jason.
Willow is worried

Piper Perabo has joined Showtime’s “Penny Dreadful” spinoff series, “Penny Dreadful: City of Angels,” in a recurring role.
Perabo will feature as Linda Craft, wife of Dr. Peter Craft, played by original series star Rory Kinnear and mother to Trevor (Hudson West) and Tom (Julian Hilliard). Her character is described as “a fading American Beauty rose, disappointed with her life and husband, and bored with her constrained suburban life.”
She joins previously cast Natalie Dormer (“Game of Thrones”), Michael Gladis, Lorenza Izzo, Adam Rodriguez (“CSI: Miami”), Thomas Kretschmann (“Avengers: Age of Ultron”) and Dominic Sherwood (“Shadowhunters”) and Ethan Peck (“Star Trek: Discovery”).

There are seven acting categories for TV dramas at the Daytime Emmys, and when you look at the pre-nominations they could all go to a past Emmy champ … except for one. Best Younger Actor is the only field this year where every single contender would be a first-time winner. Most of them would even be first-time nominees. So who will win this wide-open contest?
Last year’s winner, Rome Flynn (“The Bold and the Beautiful”), left his show in 2017, so he’s out. Also absent from the list is the actor we thought would win last year, Casey Moss (“Days of Our Lives”), even though he is still on the show and still of age. Ditto child actor Hudson West (“General Hospital”), who isn’t on the pre-nominations list either despite still being featured on his series.

This fall has been a study in contrasts when it comes to “Dancing with the Stars.” The original series aired its 27th season, and it was a roller-coaster ride with shocking eliminations along the way and an even more shocking winner at the end of the season: dance-challenged radio personality Bobby Bones. Meanwhile, the spin-off series “Juniors” premiered its inaugural season, and it’s down to the final four, all of whom are better than Bobby Bones. So should the grownups take after the kids?
Dance is subjective, so maybe you think Bones could dance circles around the child celebs. But don’t tell that to the judges. The remaining youngsters Miles Brown, Sky Brown, Ariana Greenblatt and Mackenzie Ziegler have all scored higher than Bones. True, the two shows have different judges, and you might think the “Juniors” panel might want to take it easy on the kids. But...

The old saying goes that slow and steady wins the race. But Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson probably should have picked up the pace on “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors.” Though her scores had ticked up since the beginning of the kids’ dance competition, it wasn’t enough to keep her out of the bottom of the leaderboard on Halloween Night, and this time her fans in the studio audience didn’t come to her rescue. Watch her final routine above.
Honey Boo Boo and her pro partner Tristan Ianiero performed a jazz routine to the Oscar-nominated title song from the sci-fi comedy classic “Ghostbusters” complete with uniforms and proton packs — and they even got slimed at the end. Unfortunately, that sliming turned out to be a preview of what was to come. The judges were encouraging in their critiques of her enthusiastic performance quality and gave her scores that...

Disney Night has become a tradition on “Dancing with the Stars,” but this season it has expanded to a two-night affair. The top nine child celebrities performed Disney-inspired routines on “DWTS: Juniors” on Sunday night, and the grownups will do the same in Monday’s episode of the original series. Disney is known for its family films, which makes it a perfect fit for “Juniors.” So how did the kids do? Find out below in our live blog with all the minute-by-minute developments as they happen.
The first two weeks of the competition quickly cut the roster from 12 contestants to 9. Tripp Johnston and Addison Osta Smith had the lowest judges’ scores in week one and were both eliminated after the studio audience votes were factored in. But week two ended in a surprise: “General Hospital” actor Hudson West got the boot even though he had one of the night’s higher scores.

It would be an ironic twist of fate, but it looks like Disney Channel star Jason Maybaum may be eliminated next from “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” — on Disney Night. That’s according to the combined predictions of Gold Derby users who have entered their picks in our predictions center for this week’s show.
Maybaum gets leading odds of 7/2 to be sent home from the competition. He’s best known for playing Levi Grayson in the Disney series “Raven’s Home,” but he hasn’t been known for high-scoring dances on “DWTS” just yet. In the series premiere episode he got the third lowest score of the night from the judges (18 out of 30) for his cha cha with pro partner Elliana Walmsley. He significantly improved in week two, scoring 21 for his jive, but that still placed him third from the bottom.

There’s usually a “Dancing with the Stars” contestant every season who coasts on fan support despite lower judges’ scores. Alana Thompson might turn out to be that contestant in the inaugural season of “DWTS: Juniors.” The artist formerly known as Honey Boo Boo got the bottom score on Sunday night when the celebs danced to songs from the years they were born, but she survived elimination after studio audience votes were factored in. Did she deserve that reprieve? Watch her performance above and decide for yourself.
Thompson and her pro partner Tristan Ianiero danced to a hit song from her birth year, “Don’t Cha” by Pussycat Dolls (2005). Judge Adam Rippon said, “You come out here, and you own it,” though he also pointed out a moment during the routine “when you were walking around like you were at the mall.” Val Chmerkovskiy was “proud” of the performance and...

Week two of “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” ended with a surprise: Hudson West, the Daytime Emmy nominated star of “General Hospital,” was eliminated in 10th place. That came after a superhero themed paso doble that he performed on a night when the kid celebs danced to songs released in the years they were born. And while the judges didn’t think it was the best performance of the night, they liked him better than a few of the contestants who stuck around. Do you think West got a raw deal? Watch his performance above, and vote in our poll below.
West was born in 2008 and danced to Madonna‘s hit from that year, “4 Minutes” featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. Judge Val Chmerkovskiy thought West “killed it.” Mandy Moore “loved that … you were holding Kameron so strong. You embodied the character. I really enjoyed that performance.” And Adam Rippon was “so impressed.

Just in case the word “Juniors” wasn’t a big enough clue, Dancing With the Stars‘ pint-sized spinoff offered another reminder on Sunday’s episode that these contestants are young.
In Week 2 of the ABC series, the Mirrorball hopefuls performed to songs that were released in the years they were born — years that range from the very recent 2003 to the very very recent 2008. I bet you didn’t know you’d end your weekend by feeling old, huh?

You know how everyone makes fun of the younger “Dancing with the Stars” contestants for picking a year in, like, the last seven years — including the current year — for Most Memorable Year because they haven’t lived yet? Well, neither have the kiddies on “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors.”
Oh, don’t worry, they’re not doing Most Memorable Year there, which would’ve been Lol, but they are doing Songs From the Year I Was Born in Week 2. So that’s just music from this century. Not just that, but the remaining 10 contestants range from 9 years old (Spelling Bee champ Akash Vukoti) to 14 years old (Mackenzie Ziegler), so we’re getting tunes from a five-year span from 2004 to 2009. Some of these kids weren’t even alive for their rivals’ songs! We are old; they are not. Sigh.

“Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” made its grand debut on Sunday night, October 7. The new series is spun off from the grown-up “Dancing with the Stars,” which has been on the air since 2005 and whose 27th season is currently underway. So how did “Juniors” compare to the mothership series, and how did these talented tykes compare to their adult counterparts? Find out below in our live blog with all the minute-by-minute developments as they happen.
Perhaps the biggest difference between the old show and the new is that “Juniors” has been taped in advance instead of airing live like the original series. That means fan votes won’t come into play for “Juniors” the way they do on the main series. So the kids had better be alright on the dance floor in order to impress the judges.

And will “Jeopardy” (16-time winner for Best Game Show) and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” (combined 10-time winner for Best Talk Show and Best Entertainment Talk Show) extend their records?

Who will win the Daytime Emmy for Best Younger Actor? There may not be much suspense judging by the sample performance reels submitted to the television academy’s blue ribbon panel. Gold Derby contributor Tony Ruiz and I have both watched every nominated performance, and we think Casey Moss (“Days of Our Lives”) is far ahead for his performance as Detective Jj Deveraux, who in his scenes becomes overwhelmed with guilt and contemplates suicide after shooting an unarmed man in the line of duty. Watch our slugfest above.
“I think he’s as close to a lock as there could possibly be,” says Ruiz. “I don’t see how Casey Moss loses this. It has everything that a good Emmy submission needs to have: it’s emotional, there’s lots of range, it ends with a huge scene of impact.” I agree that Moss’s reel makes him the overwhelming favorite,...

Laura Wright has been a daytime TV star for 27 years, but she didn’t receive her first Daytime Emmy nomination until 2011, when she contended for and won Best Actress for playing Carly Corinthos on “General Hospital.” She’s now nominated for the fifth time in seven years for the role. Can she prevail again? The winners will be announced on April 29, but they’ve already been decided in the soap opera acting categories by blue ribbon panels that watched sample performance reels. Watch Wright’s submission above.
Wright’s reel consists of three separate storylines. In the first scene Carly confronts Sonny (Maurice Benard) about keeping a secret: Nelle (Best Younger Actress nominee Chloe Lanier) drugged Sonny and fooled him into thinking they had an affair as part of a revenge plot against Carly. Sonny knew about the scheme but kept his mouth shut and thus let Carly continue trusting...

Billy Miller has been an Emmy darling in recent years, winning three times out of six nominations since 2010. He won Best Supporting Actor for “The Young and the Restless” in 2010 and 2013. Then he won Best Actor for “Y&R” in 2014. But after that he moved over to “General Hospital,” and now he’s nominated for the ABC soap for the first time. Can he win Best Actor again? The awards will be handed out on April 29, but they’ve already been decided in the drama acting categories by blue ribbon panels that viewed sample performance reels. Watch Miller’s submission above.
“I can’t for the life of me figure out how I got here,” says Miller at one point during his reel, and he’s not kidding. For half of his scenes he’s playing Jason Morgan, a role that was previously played by Emmy winner Steve Burton. However,...

The 2018 Daytime Emmy Awards will be presented on Sunday, April 29, but the winners in the drama acting categories have already been decided by blue ribbon panels that viewed sample performance reels. In the race for Best Younger Actor, Rome Flynn has earned his first career Emmy nomination for his role as Zende Forrester on CBS’s “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Flynn joined the soap in 2015, and left the show in late 2017. Will Flynn’s submission help him win on his first try?
In the submission, Zende listens as his wife Nicole (Best Younger Actress nominee Reign Edwards) debates whether or not to sign the papers that will allow her sister Maya (Karla Mosley) and her husband Rick (Jacob Young) to adopt the baby that Nicole carried for them as a surrogate. Nicole has recently learned that she may not be able to have another child, so she wonders whether...

In the Daytime Emmy race for Best Younger Actor, Hudson West is nominated for playing Jake Webber on ABC’s “General Hospital,” a role he has played since 2016. It is the 11-year-old actor’s first career nomination, and if he wins he will be the youngest actor ever to prevail in this category. But the winners have already been decided in the drama acting categories by blue ribbon panels that viewed sample performance reels. Will West’s submission help him make Emmy history? Watch it above.
The reel begins with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Drew (Best Actor nominee Billy Miller) telling Jake that Drew is not actually Jake’s father as they all believed, but his biological uncle. Jake is heartbroken by the news and tells Drew that he doesn’t want any other father except him. Elizabeth and Drew try to calm Jake, and Drew promises Jake that he...
