Born in Ohio, Grant Knisely graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Mass
Communications and a Minor in Digital Media Studies and Film from the
University of Denver. In 2000 he moved to London to further his Acting
and Film studies.
In 2004, Knisely visited Haiti and was exposed to extreme poverty for the first time. His experiences there made a lasting impression and he became determined to do his part to bring world attention to the issue of social injustice and humans rights.
Knisely has spent the past ten years living in Singapore and has Directed/Produced documentary films across Asia. These productions have taken him to the frontiers of Nepal, India, Haiti, Sri Lanka and Timor Leste (East Timor). His current project, Untouchable: Children of God, explores the issue of sex trafficking, slavery and the caste system on the Indian sub-continent.
He resides in Sunset Beach, California, USA.
