Tess is an award-winning producer and philanthropist with a career that
has spanned over thirty years in the entertainment and technology
industries.
Tess has traveled the U.S. and abroad as a humanitarian documentary producer and activist. Tess uses her voice as a vehicle to bring awareness and activate people to take a stand for making positive changes in the world. She has used her expertise to drive the global productions of the Global Women's Empowerment Network (GWEN) and now her 20-year vision of a global online television network of empowerment has launched under the umbrella of GWEN. As a performer, photographer and filmmaker, Tess has experienced places in the world that most people have only dreamed of seeing. She trekked through the rain forest, traveled through natural disasters, interacted with world leaders and the soulful people of indigenous villages to capture the human spirit on film. Tess has compiled over 250 hours of global footage. This footage will be converted into a series to be released in 2015.
Tess has been media-accredited to attend and film such events as the "World Conference Against Racism" and the "World Summit on Sustainability" in South Africa. She has also interviewed young people from around the globe for Youth Speak Out, one of the original television series planned for the World Trust Network. Tess has spoken regularly at the United Nations (Geneva and New York) and other international platforms on behalf of children and the important use of media and technology to bridge the cultures of the world.
