Daniele Carretta is an Italian film music composer who composes soundtracks for feature films, short films, commercials and media applications.
He likes to compose in a wide style range, from emotional and introspective to powerful and epic.
He collaborates with American and European Companies as well as Middle-East and Far-East based production houses.
Since childhood, Daniele Carretta has been interested in soundtrack composition and studied music for film at the prestigious Accademia Chigiana in Siena (Italy) with Academy Award winner L. Bacalov. He has composed soundtracks for film features, short films, web-series, movie trailers and commercials. In 2014 he has been nominated for Domani Vision Award at New York VisionFest for his Flesh Computer soundtrack. He won (summer 2016) the Award of Merit at "Southern Shorts Awards" festival, for his individual achievement in music for the short film entitled "Guardian Angel".
In 2018 Daniele Carretta is named ambassador of The International Film Music Society.
