Diogo Sales

Diogo Sales, hailing from an Afro-Indigenous background in working-class Rio de Janeiro, developed a passion for acting through his upbringing in percussion and Capoeira. At 18, he joined the Nós do Morro Theatre Company, a community theatre group in a Brazilian slum, where he began to hone his craft and express his cultural heritage. In 2009, he moved to London, where his theatre career flourished with notable performances at the Royal Shakespeare Company and mentorship from Cicely Berry. He earned critical acclaim for portraying intricate animal characters at prestigious venues like the Young Vic, Barbican, and Roundhouse.
Diogo studied at the IDSA, Identity School of Acting, founded by Femi Oguns, and also, completed a master's degree in Screen Acting at the ROYAL CENTRAL SCHOOL OF SPEECH AND DRAMA.
Diogo played the recurring role of Dothraki Bloodrider, directed by Jeremy Podeswa and Daniel Sackheim, in Season 6 of GAME OF THRONES opposite Emilia Clarke. The role of Binho in the award-winning Brazilian drama series JAILERS, directed by José Eduardo Belmonte. Also the series regular role of Nardinho in HEADLESS CHICKENS, produced by Alex de La Iglesia for HBO MAX, which extended his reach across the Spanish-speaking world. Soon, he will be seen playing the role of Saulo in the latest film directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia, RICH FLU. The cast also includes Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Lorraine Bracco, Timothy Spall and Rafe Spall.
