The world’s most prominent online video convention might be up for sale. According to Adweek, Paramount Global has hired the bank Oaklins DeSilva+Phillips to explore a potential sale of VidCon, the gathering that descends on the Anaheim Convention Center each June.
The conversations still seem to be in relatively early stages. The exact price tag VidCon could fetch hasn’t been determined, and neither Paramount nor Oaklins DeSilva+Phillips have commented on the report. Adweek‘s source did indicate that Paramount is hoping to sell VidCon to a strategic buyer rather than a private equity firm, and the event series is not seen as a “distressed asset.”
A VidCon sale could allow Paramount to reinvest in its core business. The media conglomerate has not yet achieved profitability on Paramount+, the streaming service that adopted its current name in 2021. “This is a consideration that has almost certainly been influenced by Paramount’s extraneous plans,...

Adelicious has appointed Andrew Goldsmith to the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Previously serving as Managing Director since October 2021, Goldsmith's promotion comes at a time of exceptional growth for the company, allowing them to accelerate their long-term growth plans.
By the end of 2023, Adelicious had a 314% year-on-year increase in network listens, marking a sevenfold increase over the past two years and establishing them as one the world’s leading independent hosting and monetisation networks. This growth in listens led to their brand count more than doubling and both average campaign values and overall revenues increasing more than threefold.
Goldsmith's tenure at Adelicious began with a mandate to expand the commercial and operations departments, alongside network growth and attracting senior talent to the business. His efforts have also been pivotal in fostering relationships with media planning and buying teams in the UK, US and globally. Goldsmith’s previous experience includes roles at Global Radio,...

Nigel Farage failed in his quest to win I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! last night as he finished third in the final of the ITV juggernaut, which saw viewing decline dramatically from last year’s closer.
Farage equalled former Health Secretary Matt Hancock’s finish last year, as ITV’s penchant for throwing controversial politicians into the jungle continued into 2023.
But the show lost a whopping 4M viewers from last year’s finale, tumbling to just 6.5M with a share of 42%, peaking with 7.5M. The show failed to even top the daily charts behind the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing results show. In 2022, 10.4M (54.2%) watched the final when footballer Jill Scott took home the crown. That ep peaked with 11.5M during a top-rated season. The launch of 2022 was also well up on 2023, by around 2M, although Gb News producer Ben Leo accidentally tweeted otherwise three weeks ago.

Thousands of Harry Potter fans gathered at Kings Cross train station in London, U.K. on Friday to celebrate the biggest ever Back to Hogwarts Day, held annually on Sept. 1.
Travelling from across the country and even beyond, Potterheads arrived on the concourse clad in Hogwarts-branded robes, scarves and ties. Despite a nationwide strike that meant most other rail services had been cancelled, the departures board showed a train bound for Hogsmeade scheduled for 11 a.m. (outside Kings Cross a small picket line manned by members of train drivers union Aslef quickly found itself engulfed by wannabe wizards).
Inside, “Made in Chelsea” star and self-professed Potterhead Sam Thompson was tasked with hosting proceedings from a specially-erected platform in the middle of the station. “It’s meant so much to me since I can really remember,” Thompson, who boasts three Harry Potter tattoos, told Variety of his love for the franchise.

Former One Direction member Niall Horan is one of the newcomer coaches on The Voice Season 23, which was partially filmed last year. He had a blast working with his team and fellow coaches Chance the Rapper, Kelly Clarkson, and Blake Shelton. However, Horan has no plans to relive those memories by watching season 23 as it airs on television. Here’s why he refuses to watch himself on The Voice.

After finding out that Tiff cheated on Sam while in Hong Kong, Spencer recommends that he should go and "chill" with Jamie [Laing] in Ibiza and take some time to think.

The Made in Chelsea La summer spin-off saw heartbreak for Binky, a love triangle for Jamie, and a long-overdue reunion with the blue-hued and totally "crazy" Gabrielle.
California dreaming seems worlds away for the cast now, who are back in chilly SW3 for its celebratory 10th series - but what can we expect from the gallivanting gang next?
The stars sat down for a good old gossip (and bitch) with Digital Spy, so here's 7 things we've learned from this series below:
1. Binky and Jp aren't over
But then - they're not exactly on again either. It's complicated.
Here's Binky for more... "I don't really know what's going on," she admitted helpfully. "But obviously I still have feelings for him. He's not very clever when it comes to relationships. So I think he's been really silly."
The ever-decisive Jp made even less sense as he reflected: "What's important in this series...

Made in Chelsea just keeps bringing the drama - both genuinely heartwrenching (Alik and Louise) and nauseating (Elliot's penis pictures). There was plenty going on in this week's episode, so read on for our 14 favourite moments...
1. We need to talk about Proudlock's hair.
We've been holding this in, but we just can't anymore. We've long admired Proudlock's fascinating sense of style, but his new hair is just so avant garde that we don't think we're quite ready for it. Just look at it go!
We're officially obsessed, so we were a bit disappointed when the man bun returned later on in the episode. Luckily, Proudlock's habit of invading the personal space of his mates was still in full flow - just look at him sitting with Stevie.
2. The Chelsea whispers going on with Louise and Alik's romance.

It was another packed week on Made in Chelsea, obviously. We had everything from the reintroduction of the word "bonk" (I mean, really, in my best Millie Mackintosh voice: 'Who says that?') We had Sam Thompson flirting. We had Jess drama (of course). And Stephanie and Lucy made us want to cry... Read on for this week's 16 best bits!
1. Sam Thompson's faces while Jamie was getting dental treatment.
Almost as if he was the one in pain.
But Sam's faces weren't the only entertaining ones in this (rather good) opening scene: we also got Jamie's reaction to the news that Sam "got some action" with New Millie.
And Jamie also gave good face when Sam Thompson read him out a text from Jess, who wanted to meet up to talk. Jamie began to reply no... before making a complete turnaround and deciding he would go and...

Last series, Stevie stunned us all with his philosophical pronouncement: "Women are beautiful but complex." This week, faced with Andy's Fleur-Jess dilemma and Alik's troubles with Louise, he had only one thing to sigh knowingly: "Girls are hard work." So there you go.
2. This week's utterly pointless Mark-Francis scene.

It's Back. It feels like forever since we had Made in Chelsea on our screens and it returned last night with Barbados, bikinis and lots and lots and lots of newbies. It was a pretty packed instalment of Chelsea nonsense, so read on for 15 things that we loved...
1. The frankly ridiculous opening sequence.
We tend to shout all over the continuity announcer's claims that "some of the scenes have been created for your entertainment" because we prefer to live in a world where Made in Chelsea is 100%, complete and total real life. Which It Is, Right? Unfortunately even we couldn't take the opening sequence seriously as Sam Thompson legged it down the street, bumped into Mark-Francis and woke up Jamie so he didn't miss his flight to Barbados. Who are the stars of tomorrow in TV, film and theatre?
Digital Spy presents its predictions for 2015 - in no particular order, here are seven young actors, writers, comedians and musicians who look destined to make an impression on the world of entertainment this year.
1. Billy Howle
After graduating from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2013, Billy Howle quickly landed television work in Channel 4's New Worlds and on ITV's Vera.
But the young actor first came to our attention last year with his powerful performance as the troubled James in sorely underrated countryside thriller Glue.
Next up for the talented Howle is a plum role in BBC One's adaptation of Laurie Lee's Cider with Rosie, which is due to be broadcast later in 2015.
2. Hannah Britland
A graduate from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Hannah Britland launched her television acting career with early roles in Misfits and Skins.

We think this week's Made in Chelsea may have introduced us to something very special indeed. History-making. Record-breaking. The first ever passive-aggressive high five. Who knew?
As well as all that hand clapping, though, there was plenty of other stuff to sink our teeth into - tears, cold stares, a fantastic bois' night out and much, much more. Read on for the 23 best bits from the episode...
1. The bit when... Sam accidentally called Alik his boyfriend.
"Honey, I'm home!" Yep, Alik was back in the UK this week - thank goodness - but to be honest, Sam seemed more excited about his return than Louise did.
"This feels a little bit more homey," Alik smiled in the way only Alik can smile. "I've got my girlfriend." "And Your Boyfriend," Sam squealed, before realising what he'd said.
"That was a bit awkward."
2. The bit when... Spencer gathered the bois.
Just Look At Him.

Oh, we've missed Spencer Matthews' smug smirking on our screen. Luckily, he was back on Made in Chelsea this week... with a girlfriend! I know, imagine! 1. The bit when... the bois made a great entrance.
Matthews. Mytton. Jordan. Laing. It's not a bad combo for an opening scene, is it? And they made sure to arrive in the episode in style, in matching convertibles - with the top down. Of course this all sounds very cool but in actuality Jamie almost lost his hat.

We're just going to put it out there - we are loving Andy this series. He's getting everything right. He's being harsh when necessary, a bro when needed, and funny when we want him to be. It seems, though, that this opinion is not shared with everyone - say, Louise, who kind of liked Andy last week until Rosie made her see that he is the most evil man to have walked the planet.
We got all the fallout from that this week, along with plenty of other stuff - Tiff vs Sam, for example, which spilled into Lucy vs Binky and Binky vs Fran in the way only a Chelsea storyline can. And Alik ate snails. Hooray! Read on for the 23 best bits...

We're not sure about you, but we're feeling a little depressed after this week's Made in Chelsea. Don't get us wrong, there were plenty of lighter moments - from Sam flinging his tea towel about the place willy-nilly to Jamie's willy jokes, but there were lots of sad misunderstandings and sad faces. It's all got Very Dramatic all of a sudden. Read on for our 23 best bits this week...
1. The bit when... Jamie, Binky, Lucy and Stevie were putting the world to rights.
"We are the righteous ones!" Lucy declared, and who are we to argue? Unfortunately, Jamie had to take it a little bit far, didn't he? Searching for someone to bitch about he grinned: "Hands up if you think Josh is a dick!" We don't think Stevie was quite ready to joke about it, to be honest.
It probably didn't help when Jamie told him to stop...

Hey, remember when Proudlock was the man who loved life? Every time we turned on Made in Chelsea, we'd see his happy face proclaiming another glorious day. Not now. It's all grim in the Lost Bois' camp... but it made this week's episode pretty thrilling, to be fair.
As if all that drama wasn't enough, there was a misjudged phone call, an awkward date and even accusations of black magic. Seriously. Read on for our 23 best bits from the episode...
1. The bit when... Jamie cracked on to Lucy and it was weird.
Jamie explained that he'd just been rowing with Spenny because he wanted to get fit. And then, inexplicably, he looked at Lucy and practically winked as he slithered: "I know you think I look fit and healthy." Lucy's reaction was... lukewarm.
Luckily, Andy stepped in to point out that Jamie and Lucy had only just got back...

Well, this week's Made in Chelsea was jolly good. It seems it's all going down in the streets of SW3 - there were drama explosions all over the place. Even Mark-Francis and Victoria had a scene that actually had a point! Read on for our 24 favourite moments, from Alik and Louise's nightmare to everyone being mean to Jamie to, well, all the rest of it...
1. The bit when... Binky had work-out glow from seeing WIll.
"It was glorious," she gushed to Alik and Louise. "I'm so turned on." Now, we're not sure that's really daytime drinks conversation, but we did enjoy it. And so did Louise, who couldn't resist bursting into a chorus of "Binky and Will Sitting In A Tree". Bless.
2. The bit when... Alik said "love ya" to Louise when he left.
"Love ya, later!" Binky couldn't help but gasp, and even Louise was cringing, which is not exactly a good sign.

Made in Chelsea's stars are always involved in relationship ups and downs, but at some point they'll have to settle down... right? Well, we went on a date with Sam Thompson recently, and he was very keen to find out where we thought everyone would be in ten years' time.
But we think he has a far better insight into that, so we got him to polish his crystal ball and look into the future for his predictions about where the cast will be in a decade. Read on to find out who he thinks will be married (and who he thinks will be divorced!).
Sam on... Louise
"She can't wait to be a mum. She gets in mummy mode at home. She walks around the house with a hoover. She always washes, cleans up. She mothers me and our housemate Ed. He's her age as well so he's like,...

Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson has suggested that Lucy Watson needs to let her guard down in relationships.
Watson has recently started a tentative romance with Chelsea co-star Oliver Proudlock, but has admitted that she is nervous about getting hurt in relationships.
Made in Chelsea: What is it like to date Sam Thompson? We found out!
"She's always got a wall up," Thompson told Digital Spy. "I think that's going to come back to bite her though. I think you need to let it down."
He acknowledged why Watson may be anxious, saying: "If you let your wall down and you let your feelings be known, I think that there's so much opportunity for you to get hurt. I think that's obviously what she's thinking.
"I think the problem with that is though, if you keep your wall up too high, people are going to start [avoiding you]... You want to be approachable.

I am sitting on a pedalo in the middle of the Serpentine in Hyde Park and Sam Thompson from Made in Chelsea has just asked me to marry him. In fact, his exact words are: "I love you! Can we get married? Honestly, you are lovely." It seems our first date is going well.
Ok, so I'm not sure his proposal was serious, exactly - after all, all I'd done was say that he looked "alright" in his new cable knit jumper, which he'd worn specially - but if there's one thing that I've learned about Sam, it's that he's an utterly charming date.
I'm on this pedalo in the freezing weather to figure out why exactly Sam hasn't been having much luck with the ladies on Made in Chelsea. "I have lain in bed and had sleepless nights," Sam admitted. "I don't know!"
Neither do I. By the time...

Made in Chelsea was back with another slice of action from SW17 this week, and there was plenty going on. From the repeated use of the word "gutted" to Lucy and Proudlock's adventures in romance, it's hard to know where to start... but we've brought you our 21 best bits!
1. The bit when... Sam was Jamie's "bitch".
Some of the bois were playing rugby, but they got a little thirsty. Never fear, for Jamie's new intern is on speed dial - and it's Sam. He vowed to bring the bois some orange slices ("I'll be bringing joy and happiness with me"; "And a rainbow. Bring that."). We weren't sure this was a proper internship but Jamie did say he was a mentor and pulled this face, so we're convinced.
Anyway, Sam is actually an excellent intern who showed up congratulating the bois on a "good game" and standing like a perfect statue.

It's not actually that long since we had Made in Chelsea on our screens but oh God, it's so good to have it back. Even the "previously on" segment of Monday's show was brilliant - Sam's water boom! Binky's Alex slap! Lucy reminding us of that party when Louise "got her t*ts out"! So basically, we're very excited that we've got brand new moments to enjoy, and here are 22 of the best from this week launch...
1. The bit when... Stevie and Andy were reunited.
Tell us that's not the cover of a Mills & Boon novel waiting to happen. The bromance continues!
2. The bit when... Andy found out Louise has a boyfriend now.
He's totally rutting, met. Meanwhile, Binky was busy asking Louise if she's been having "sexy phone calls" with Alik.
Later, Louise helpfully told Andy that she'd met "someone really amazing" and he was coming over to the UK.

It feels like forever since Made in Chelsea: New York was on our screens, so thank goodness the show is back tonight - and, of course, we're back in London's most exclusive postcode.
It's pretty clear that there is loads of drama from New York to deal with, so we caught up with some of the cast at a posh London club - where else? - to find out what's going on. Read on for 14 things you need to know about the new series, from the bois hating each other to Stevie's rapping to romances to new cast members and much, much more...
1. Lucy Watson's sister Tiff has joined the show.
"It's been good," Tiff said. "We've just finished our sixth episode so I'm getting used to it now. At first I was like, 'Argh!' It was a bit scary but no, it's been fun. I'm really enjoying it.

Made in Chelsea is back next Monday - with three new cast members.
Lucy Watson's little sister Tiff has signed up to take part in the E4 hit series, along with two of Alex Mytton's university friends.
Tiff is said to be "active and sociable" and is close to her big sister despite occasional sibling problems. She even works on Lucy's jewellery line and is currently single.
Meanwhile, Mytton - who has burnt bridges with several Chelsea cast members - will be pleased to know that his university friends Will Colebrook, 24, and Lonan O'Herlihy, 25, have signed up to take part in series eight.
Colebrook - a ski instructor, cyclist, surfer and skateboarder - is a personal trainer and property developer, but is also described as "guilty of falling in love hard and fast".
Meanwhile, O'Herlihy - who already knows returning Chelsea cast member Toff - works with Colebrook...

We can't believe it's already over! We still have Stars and Stripes bunting in our living room and pretzels in the oven, but the Made in Chelsea trip to New York is now at an end (and no, we're not happy about it). Luckily, it went out in style with a shock hook-up, more Stevie romance drama (who would have guessed?) and plenty of other bits too. Read on for our 22 best bits...
1. The moment when... Lucy took a huge dog for a walk (or rather, he took her for a walk).
Why does Lucy have a dog? We don't know. All we know is that it's strong and it's called Meatloaf. Meatloaf. We want to gobble him up.
2. The moment when... Sam tucked into a giant ice cream sundae.
Eight scoops. Cheesecake underneath. Sauces. The sundae of kings! Sam tucked in ("I really wouldn't do that mate," Louise warned...

It was another busy week in New York City, and just because that wasn't quite enough for our Made in Chelsea lot, they guffawed over to the Hamptons as well. From Stevie's natural playa emerging to apple pie and cheese (excuse me?) to so much more, here are this week's best bits...
1. The moment when... Sam Thompson was a proper tourist.
If there's anything that this series has been missing so far, it's Sam Thompson dressed in a Statue of Liberty outfit, waving the Stars and Stripes and going on a bus tour of NYC. Thankfully, the show finally rectified this. And what's more, he got cheers from a group of girls on the street. "They were talking to me!" he squealed, barely believing his luck (we didn't believe it either to be fair).
2. The moment when... Jamie had to wear a hot dog outfit after losing his bet with Riley.

2. The moment when Proudlock summed up the Stevie-Billie-Spencer love triangle in three simple words.

3. The moment when Jamie showed off his knowledge of British history.
"Spencer's always plotting. He's like Guy Fawkes."

Oh, you know what, we're feeling ever so excited. Finally, after what feels like forever, Made in Chelsea is back tonight. And given that every series so far has given us some fantastic moments, it's no wonder we're anticipating it so much! To celebrate, we just had to look over our favourite bits from the past six series (and hand out some honourable mentions too, of course...)
Series 1: Spencer's mad dash to the airport
Ah, do you remember when Spencer wasn't quite as devilish as he is now? Back in series one, Spenny was completely in love with the beautiful Caggie Dunlop, leading to a movie-style mad dash to the airport in the finale. Everything about this was excellent, from Hugo telling his bestie to stop acting like a "pussy" and "get off his arse and go to the airport", to Caggie telling Millie that saying goodbye to Spenny broke her heart,...

Celebrity Big Brother star Ollie Locke has admitted to having a crush on fellow housemate Sam Faiers.
The former Made in Chelsea star opened up about his feelings for the Essex girl during a discussion with Luisa Zissman.
Luisa initiated the conversation, telling Ollie that she wanted him and Sam to get together, to which a miserable-looking Ollie replied: "She won't have me".
Ollie then divulged his feelings towards the Towie star, describing her as "amazing".
He said: "I can see exactly why someone would adore her and she's exactly my type of girl.
"She's normal and it's so hard to find someone normal. All this year I haven't met one person where I've sat there and gone, 'I could sit there and cuddle you on the sofa', apart from her."
Ollie went on to express his fears that Sam wouldn't reciprocate his feelings, and told Luisa that he didn't want to be rejected.

The rumour mill has closed down, we now know the full lineup for the latest Celebrity Big Brother, and we at Digital Spy are rather chuffed, as we got quite a few of them right in our predictions!
There are a couple of surprises in amongst the usual dose of models you'd never heard of, American stars who have probably never heard of Big Brother, and talent from yesteryear desperate for some kind of comeback.
While the celebs get used to their new surroundings, here follows a quick guide to your new friends for the next couple of weeks.
Casey Batchelor
Say it with me now. 'Whooooo?' Here's your token glamour model that you're totally forgiven for never having heard of, unless you're a regular reader of Nuts or Zoo magazine.
Apparently, according to the Channel 5 press release, Casey is "most known for her 34GGs". Most likely in there...
