Jaclyn Quinn Hoffmann was born on June 13th, 1994 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is the 4th child of Paula and Skip following Matt, Jo, and Michael. In October of 1995, Jackie was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) type 2. While the disability is debilitating, it hasn't stopped her.
After graduating from Pius XI High School, Jackie went to Northwestern University where she majored in Radio/TV/Film. She killed it there. Her first-ever script, "Thicker Than Water", was selected for Studio 22's New Student Grant. It was accepted to nine film festivals and won Best Comedy Short at SNOB Film Festival. By senior year, Jackie was head writer for Northwestern Sketch Television (NSTV) and president of Northwestern University Women Filmmakers Alliance (NUWFA).
After graduating in 2016, she moved to LA to pursue her dream of writing television.
