Joe Cassidy is a London based Actor Writer and Voice over Artist who trained with Deirdre O'Connell of the Focus theatre Dublin, and at the Stanislavski Studio, Inc: Voice Master Class with Andrea Ainsworth one of the leading voice specialists in Ireland. Andrea has been the Voice Director at the Abbey Theatre since 1995, working closely with both Irish and International Directors and on all productions in the Abbey and Peacock. He was born in Dublin, Ireland and subsequently relocated to London where he of course now lives. He's probably best remembered back in Ireland for his portrayal of the character " Frank Monaghan' in Ireland's number one soap ' Fair City " which he played for eight years.
Joe left the show to take up an offer of back to back National Tours with the Importance Of Being Earnest, and Thomas Kilroy's " Talbot's Box and immediately after this was followed up with his compelling and critically acclaimed portrayal of "Pat " in Brendan Behan's Play "The Hostage.
