- Jonathan Levi Joel Ronin is of European/Asian descent and was born on the 7th of January 1987 in Sydney, Australia. His parents divorced at a young age and his father was a Filipino singer-song writer and his mother worked in an office.
Jonathan dropped out of high school and became homeless between the ages of 12 - 13 and 16 - 18. During this time, he was scouted and signed to a modeling agency in Sydney Australia although that did not last long. He spent time travelling abroad and whilst working various odd jobs he took an interest in acting after being cast as an extra, stand-in and picture double in the film The Wolverine, afterwards, Jonathan headed to Hong Kong and Shanghai were an opportunity opened however, during his flight back home he was hospitalized with appendicitis.
