John Netto
John Francis Netto was born December 17, 1974 in Oakland, California.
After growing up in Pinole, California, he joined the US Marine Corps
in November 1993. After being stationed in Marine Corps Air Station
Iwakuni, Japan and the US Embassy Tokyo, he attended the University of
Washington in 1998 where he studied Japanese, Chinese, Finance, and
Journalism. He was the Editor of the Business Section at The Daily in
2000 and 2001. In 2002, he was honorably discharged from the Marine
Corps and pursued a full time career in Finance. In 2003 he started his
firm M3 Capital and 2004 he wrote his first book and was published by
McGraw-Hill, One Shot - One Kill Trading. After becoming a regular
guest on both national financial talk shows and sports handicapping
radio shows in Las Vegas, John became a mainstay at multiple investing
conferences around the country. From 2008-2013, Netto has appeared on
CNN International, CNBC, Bloomberg TV, Fox Business Channel, PBS
offering editorial content about the financial markets. In 2013 he was
featured in the documentary film "Life on the Line" and did follow up
work as a contributor to "Ghost Exchange" which was released in 2013.
