Nick Baham
- Actor
Nick spent most of his childhood in Loranger, LA which some would
consider hardly a town. The town has one caution light and a few stop
signs located around the high school and few business establishments.
In that very same town he went to Elementary, Middle, Jr. High and High
School. Nick's Dad started him young in sports including
football, baseball, basketball, track and field, and also had him riding
bulls in rodeos. Yes, it would be safe to say that Nick has owned a few
pairs of cowboy boots before. However, after reaching high school his
father wouldn't allow him to participate in rodeos anymore but instead
to focus on football and track and field. He was starting for the
Loranger High School Varsity Football team by 10th grade playing the
positions of defensive back and quarterback. Nick would play at LHS for
the next 3 years before he enrolled at East Central Community College
(located in Decatur, Ms)only for the hopes of one day transferring from
the small 2year college and play football for a large university. After
a disappointing first year, He decided to give the dream up and move
back home. When he moved home he started pursuing a film/modeling
career at the age of 19. It wasn't long before he realized he wouldn't
be able to live off hopes and dreams, so he started working different
part-time jobs. One of the notable jobs he had was being a Jailor for
his local Sheriff's department. Realizing that there was little room
for advancement he then decided to join The United States Navy as a
Corpsman (medic). During his time in the military he found that he had
to put a hold on the modeling and acting for a while, at least until
his last 6 months with the Navy. That is when Nick was featured in
Rumors of Wars (2014) . He is now
separated from the military and moving to NYC to focus on film/modeling
full time. ----Personal life Nick is 1 of 7 kids but only grew up with
his younger brother (Hank) and his younger sister (Jessica). Nick also
considers his younger cousin (Thomas) to be his brother as well. Nick
and his two younger brothers would perform Songs by the backstreet boys
growing up for family. Nick admits that the youngest of them
all,Thomas, was the better performer. Unfortunately in 2008 Thomas
passed away due to an illness. In the following year his mother also
passed Away. That's when Nick turned back to theater to deal with the
loss. He said That without that outlet to release stress he's afraid
where he would have ended up. Nicks relationship with his father has
never been stronger.
