Wednesday's episode of Survivor: Caramoan — Fans vs. Favorites picked up right where the previous week's had left off — with the Fans returning from Tribal Council having just sent Allie home. Not exactly one big happy family, this bunch. The episode opened with Shamar "going nuts," in the words of Laura, because he narrowly escaped elimination at Tribal Council. After Sherri tried to convince him to tone it down, Shamar refused and said he was contemplating quitting the game. "I don't want to be the angry black man on Survivor," he said. Um ... too late?

The Cool Table learned last week on Survivor Caramoan that an alliance of four isn't a majority in a tribe of 10, but this little math lesson also led to the subtraction of Allie. This big play brought forth even more chaos upon poor Gota in the appropriately named "There's Gonna Be Hell to Pay" episode. Season 26 has already delivered tons of strategizing and alliance shuffling, and Bikal had its fair share of drama too. Survivor Caramoan has so far proven how entertaining this show can be when you pack the island full of people who actually want to win, along with a sprinkle of some healthy insanity.

When Girls debuted last year on HBO it immediately became one of the most divisive shows on television. People seemed to either love it or loathe it. But now even the people that loved it seem divided on the risqué comedy’s second season. Jessica Shaw is one such person that has major issues with what has happened to one of her favorite shows. On the latest installment on the InsideTV Podcast, Jessica shares her concerns with a show she feels has abandoned its core appeal and gotten sidetracked by theme episodes that have separated the foursome from each other.

For 12 years, Allie Pohevitz dreamed of competing on Survivor, only to have her adventure last five days when her tribe elected to vote her out instead of abrasive war veteran Shamar Thomas. The 25-year-old bartender from Oceanside, N.Y., talks about her alliance of good-looking fans, clashing with Shamar and what you didn't see on TV. You formed an alliance of four with Reynold, Eddie and Hope, based on the fact that you are all good-looking. Did you consider how that would be received? I'm upset that people think that just because we're attractive, we have to be dumb. Sure,...

The first fan has fallen. Allie Pohevitz, a 25-year-old bartender from Oceanside, N.Y., was the first member of the fans tribe to be voted out on Survivor: Caramoan -- Fans vs. Favorites. Photos: Jeff Probst's 'Survivor' Picture Diary She was part of an alliance of four who were perceived as "couples" -- a dangerous label to have in the game -- and that included only four people, meaning the group did not have the numbers advantage in the tribe of 10. On Thursday, she talked to The Hollywood Reporter about why their alliance thought they were safe, what she told

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Or a woman voted out first from her tribe on Survivor. We found that out first hand when Survivor: Caramoan — Fans vs Favorites bootee Allie Pohevitz called into the InsideTV Podcast to discuss her time on the island. She wasn’t too happy about being labeled “not the cutest” by cuddle-partner Reynold, but she saved the bulk of her ire for dehydration-phobic Shamar, labeling him “disgusting” and a “disgrace.” “I cannot stand that man,” she says in case there is any doubt as to her true feelings. Allie Pohevitz was the second castaway and first Fan to be voted off "Survivor: Caramoan" this season. She tells Zap2it that she's frustrated with the experience and would leave tomorrow if the show asked her back.
Are you glad you went on "Survivor"? Was it everything you expected it to be?
"Yeah, I'm ecstatic. I'm so glad I did it. It didn't turn out like I hoped it would, but I'm so glad I did it. The people, living with those people and dealing with them on a daily basis was a lot harder than I expected. Food and water I was worried about, but it was more the social aspect that really surprised me."
What did you think of the "Favorites"? Were any of them your favorite contestants?
"I thoroughly enjoyed Corinne when I watched her season and I liked watching Cochran and Brandon. I didn't ever want to play with them,...

Survivor: Caramoan Review, Season 26, Episode 2
“Honey Badger”
Airs Wednesdays at 8pm (Et) on CBS
This week gives a clear reminder of the difference between liking Survivor and being an expert player. Even if these really are super fans like Jeff Probst claims, there’s still no substitute for game experience. Brandon Hantz may be crazy, but even he would probably do a better job hiding the hidden immunity idol than Reynold. When he discovers this important prize with relative ease, he gives a confessional about making sure the others don’t learn his secret. Of course, this means little when this “bulge in his pants” gets exposed near the camp. Laura shows her smarts by recognizing the idol, but then outs him in a really strange and noncommittal way at Tribal Council. Their inept play makes even the goofball favorites look like geniuses. The final vote is handled well by the dominant group,...

Survivor 26,Fans Vs Favorites eliminated Allie Pohevitz in episode 2 tonight. Tonight's episode kicked off with the usual conversation footage. Both John Cochran and Philip indicated that they didn't fully trust Brandon. And Philip actually told Brandon to his face that he didn't trust him, because he doesn't know him well enough yet. That,of course, pissed Brandon off,and he went to complain to the other tribemembers about it,but I don't think anyone really cared that much, because they all know he's just a big baby, anyways. After all that drama, they showed the rewards challenge, which also doubled as the immunity challenge. It involved acquiring 9 rings, via rafting. Then they had to toss the rings, landing three of them around poles. The first team to do it,won. The Favorites pulled this victory out, claiming immunity this week,so the Fans had to get rid of someone. Back at the Fans' camp,...
