-Angélique Duruisseau has always sung...
Right from the start of elementary school, Angélique is chosen every year to play the lead character in a play.
In extracurricular activities, she is introduced to gymnastics, classical ballet with Christie Turgeon and, later, jazz ballet and contemporary dance with the wonderful choreographer Menka Negrani.
In Grade 6, she was chosen to sing lead for the high school concert. It was then that everyone discovered Angélique's talent... she herself had no idea...
As a teenager, she took part in plays, musicals and musical concerts, and she and her orchestra were even chosen to host the school's reward show. A little anecdote: the orchestra is made up of at least two members of Les Trois Accords.
Confident in her singing talents, she chose to study drama. There she met Alexandre L'Heureux, Antoine Bertrand, Pierre Lapointe*, Anna Moulounda, and so many other wonderful artists. It was around this time that she began teaching singing, acting and dance. She began singing professionally at the age of 18-19. In 2001, she took part in "Cégep en spectacle" in collaboration with 5 exceptional artists. Their concert was entitled La lumière et ses mutations, and the diva improvised daring, dizzying melodies to electroacoustic music and poems by Jonathan Lamy, dressed by Arianne Clément.
