R Hill was born in Oklahoma, raised on Guam and has lived in Korea, Japan, India and resides in Seattle.
R started working in the tourism and hospitality industry as a serial entrepreneur and has launched a dozen start-up businesses, a couple of magazines, several radio shows and a multitude of ad campaigns in multiple countries.
He published his first book, Real Life Interviews - Ordinary People Being Extraordinary in 2009, which inspired him to write a screenplay and venture into film making.
In 2013, R Hill directed and produced his original short film, UtopiA plus wrote the screenplays for the produced short films: Yukon Jack (2013), Alchemist's Revenge (2013) and The Way Out (2014).
R Hill works as a full-time screenwriter and filmmaker. R gets up at four o'clock every morning for four hours of uninterrupted writing and then takes a long walk in the park with his dog, Snazzy. Then it's on to the next project.
