Die’ced opens on Halloween 1987 when a couple of nurses realize they’ve released the wrong patient. This allows one of them to deliver a long monologue telling us all about Benjamin Newman. He’s been locked up for the past seventeen years after “he diced up his parents’ body parts and played with them like they were pieces in a board game”.
They come to the conclusion that the only thing to do is destroy all evidence he was ever a patient there. While they’re doing that, he’s killing someone and stealing their Halloween costume, their Walkman, and a complete set of knives. I wonder what he wanted those for.
Elsewhere, Cassandra and her brother Tommy are getting ready for a Halloween party. Tommy’s a little worried about their father, it...

"How do we kill it?!" "You can't." Uncork'd Ent. has released an official trailer for an indie horror film titled They Reach, marking the feature directorial debut of Pacific-Northwest filmmaker Sylas Dall. Set in 1979, the film follows a 13-year-old girl who stumbles upon a possessed reel-to-reel tape player. She unknowingly unleashes a demonic entity that haunts her family while slowly dragging the small town of Clarkston to Hell. She and her two friends must find a way to defeat the demon before more people disappear. The film stars Mary Madaline Roe as Jessica, with Morgan Chandler, Eden Campbell, Kyan Zielinski, Elizabeth Rhoades, Ash Calder, Frederick Floyd, Kara Puerschner, and Adrienne Jordan. This seems like it has a few cool ideas in it, and tons of horrifying scenes, maybe trying a bit too much. Still looks quite creepy. Here's the first official trailer (+ two posters) for Sylas Dall's They Reach, direct...

Unsuccessful in their attempt, the entire incident is caught on tape… Jump forward ten years and a young girl, Jessica, stumbles upon the reel-to-reel tape player in a junk store and takes it home to fix. Accidentally cutting her hand and bleeding out onto the machine, she unknowingly unleashes a demonic entity that haunts her family while slowly dragging Clarkston, the small town where she lives, to hell.
Ok, let’s get this out of the way first.
