Cast your minds back to 2002 - a time when Pop Idols didn't need to have The X Factor, Fifty Shades of Grey were just colours on a paint sampler chart and David Beckham was a mere international superstar rather than global megastar.
Bend It Like Beckham, with a modest estimated budget of £3.7 million, opened that same year and became a critical and commercial success - breaking box office records and scoring BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations, as well as making household names of many of its stars.
As the cast continues preparing for the West End stage adaptation of Gurinder Chadha's screen hit ahead of previews on May 15, find out what the movie's ensemble cast went on to achieve - including who is coming back for the musical...

Stooshe have told Digital Spy that they would be open to appearing on a variety of reality shows, from The X Factor to Dancing on Ice.
Band member Courtney Rumbold said she believes each of the 'Black Heart' singers is especially suited to a particular reality show, though they'd have to stick together if invited to judge a talent contest.
Asked at last night's Aq/Aq re-launch party in Carnaby Street if any of Stooshe would ever go on X Factor, Rumbold replied: "As a judge? You never know.
"I watch [talent shows] all the time, they're entertaining. Maybe if we get asked in the future. They might have to have all three of us, because I think we'd all do well as judges."
She continued: "Do you know I've always said to the girls I think Alex would be good on Strictly Come Dancing, Karis would be good on I'm a Celebrity...

All Saints have reportedly turned down an offer to star in the next series of The Big Reunion.
Fellow '90s girl group Eternal have also refused to reform for the ITV2 show, according to the Daily Star Sunday.
A source said: "Shaznay isn't interested and it would take a miracle to get Eternal back together."
All Saints stars Melanie Blatt and Shaznay Lewis went on to launch solo careers when the group split. Blatt is currently a judge on The X Factor New Zealand, while Lewis is a successful songwriter, penning 'Black Heart' for Stooshe and working with Mutya Keisha Siobhan.
Sisters Natalie and Nicole Appleton found success as a duo with hits like 'Fantasy' and 'Don't Worry', before briefly reforming with All Saints in 2006 to release single 'Rock Steady' and a third album.
Meanwhile, former Eternal member Kelle Bryan admitted earlier this year that she wouldn't be interested in reuniting for the show.
