Amir Marcus is a musician, composer, producer and the founder of EXM Productions (Exclusive Music Productions.) He is known as creatively sensitive maker and arranger of music with imagination that captivates the ears and mind. With proven ability to fit multiple formats and genre, Amir has produced for many notable large screen, TV and stage productions, from epic to electronic music. His ability to combine all music styles makes his music extremely diverse, interesting, listenable and in-demand.
"All musicians can make music but not every musician can make people connect to the music. I try to make each production into something catchy while always maintaining a musically high standard. This is what program creators need and what audiences expect."
Marcus had is breakthrough when he was 29 at which time he left his musical "mark," based on production in the U.S. for the A&E channel television series "The Jacksons" - a reality TV series about the life and family of Michael Jackson. Other credits soon followed.
The speed with which Marcus works is surprising. He instantly knows, in pre-production, how a piece of music should be experienced by the listener, "When I receive a text or a scene in a musical work, I sense what kind of music should be there. I just feel it. And the end results have been a testament to this gift."
To make one person feel what you feel may be easy. But to make an entire audience feel what you feel, has become my art and skill."
In September 2015 Marcus released a full Epic album "Inspired," together with his current partner Stephan Fischer. This album was signed to PeerMusic and, in the month of November 2015, "Inspired" quickly rose to the Top100 Soundtracks charts on ITunes Germany.
In April, 2016 EXM issued an official statement that, "Amir Marcus & Stephan Fischer have confirmed to sign with BMG Chrysalis. This deal is going to put them into a list of major composers." BMG is going to manage, develop, market and expose Amir Marcus & Stephan Fischer's music.
Amir Marcus combines an insight to the mechanics of human perception as well as to the depth and intricacies of the computer. This allows him to "see and hear" a musical as a graphic production so it becomes this reality, just as he sees and hears it and as he knows the audience will perceive it. This is what makes Amir unique and what he shares with the world. See all credits and listen to excerpts of Marcus's memorable sounds at www.exmproductions.com
