Horror-focused media company Crypt TV has built an audience (and earned a Streamy Award win) thanks to the scary stories it has told on social media, but with its latest series, it is mining some frights from real-life locations. It has partnered with Rated Red to launch Ghosted, a Go90 series that explores famously haunted destinations in the American South.
Ghosted is hosted by LeeAnna Vamp, who has thrilled her fans with her macabre cosplay costumes. In her latest gig, she will travel from New Orleans to Charleston, South Carolina, encountering many spooky mysteries along the way. She will also interact with the eccentrics of local ghost hunting communities, who will lead her on a trip through the derelict monuments they love to explore.
Rated Red's target audience is "Heartland Millennials," many of whom have strong connections to the areas Vamp and her cohorts will explore. To appeal to those viewers,...

Although dressing up in costume for fan conventions has been around for more than 70 years, the general public doesn’t really understand the fan-favorite practice. “Cosplay Melee” aims to change that.
Syfy’s reality competition show, premiering Tuesday, March 21, aims to demystify cosplay, a portmanteau word comprised of “costume” and “play.” Sort of a “Project Runway” for geeks, the series shows the competitors in action, creating their costumes from scratch within a specified time limit.

“It’s an art form for nerds, and I say that with all the love that I can muster because I’m a nerd,” the show’s host and self-described fangirl Yvette Nicole Brown told IndieWire. “Nerds, they’re just people who are really, really into stuff. So you could be a nerd about jigsaw puzzles, you could be a nerd about ‘Star Trek,...

We have to thank the team at Nerdist in advance for this parody video. They just release a solid Taylor Swift Batman parody music video called Bat Blood. It’s a fun take on the Batman universe as we see the Dark Knight’s rogue gallery of villains team up to take on Batman and his team. The whole song is sung by none other than Catwoman. What’s even more awesome is that they spared no expense here. Catwoman is played by none other than the queen of the nerds herself, Leeanna Vamp. Leeanna is one of the most popular models for

The road to Comic-Con just got more exciting.
Syfy kicks off its newest competition series, “Cosplay Melee,” on Tuesday, March 21 the network announced Thursday.
Hosted by the self-styled “super fan girl” Yvette Nicole Brown, the show pits world-class cosplayers against each other to create the ultimate, elaborate and innovative costumes. These are not your typical costumes where you dress up a t-shirt with makeup and a hat. Hell, even a toilet-paper mummy get-up would be strictly amateur here.

“As a huge fan of the creativity cosplayers bring to their craft, nothing makes me happier than having a front row seat for the amazing creations set to hit the ‘Cosplay Melee’ runway,” said Brown. “These talented artists are going to shine!”
Each week, four competitors will create full body character costumes that may include garments,...

The content we’ve seen so far from Crypt TV has seldom strayed from the territory of scripted horror, but its latest project comes with a real-life spin. The studio, whose founding partners include Eli Roth and the innovative team at Blumhouse Productions, is behind Ghosted, a travel series that will explore haunted destinations on Complex Networks’ Rated Red platform.
According to Variety, where news of Ghosted was first shared, the show will be hosted by LeeAnna Vamp, a creator best known for her YouTube videos about conventions, cosplaying, and the occult. In each episode of the forthcoming eight-episode series, Vamp will travel to a new abandoned ruin, derelict crash site, or spooky hotel. As she ventures from Georgia to Louisiana to Mississippi, she’ll tell the real-life ghost stories behind the locations she visits, allowing Ghosted to serve as both a travel guide and a collection of tall tales.

This is cosplayer LeeAnna Vamp all dressed up at Dark Helmet from Spaceballs at San Diego Comic-Con. Dark Helmet has never looked so attractive! I’ve seen a few Dark Helmet cosplayers in my day, but this one is definitely the most playful and unique.

Thanks to Movie Hotties, we have a very cool photoshoot featuring the beautiful LeeAnna Vamp as Vampirella, the iconic comic book vampire superheroine created by Forrest J Ackerman and costume designer Trina Robbins. A direct to video movie featuring Vampirella was released in 1996, but it's been a long time since there was any sort of talk of a reboot. If it happens though, this professional cosplayer seems like the ideal choice to bring the character to life on the big or small screen, that's for sure! Be sure to click on the link below for a behind-the-scenes video and even more awesome photos, while LeeAnna's official website can be found by clicking right here. ...

Meghan Trainor’s song "All About That Bass" is so catchy and addicting to listen to. Nerdist presents a Team Unicorn music video parody that mixes in Star Wars references called "All About That Base: No Rebels."
Team Unicorn is not the first to make a Star Wars parody using that hook. Youtube user Liminal Jay created a music video parody three days before Halloween. Team Unicorn did a much better job in my opinion in terms of lyrics, dancing, costumes, and references to both the original music video and Star Wars.
Details about the music video via Nerdist:
Meghan Trainor’s sassy “All About That Bass” has taken a trip to the galaxy far, far away in our latest Nerdist Presents: a new Team Unicorn music video! The Unicorns have dressed in Empire attire, brought in dancing stormtroopers and astromechs, added some Darth Sidious, and made the popular song an Imperial anthem.
